Yea so octopus aren’t rare villagers, these statistics are accurate I have actually encountered all the octopus villagers already and I had Zucker and marina before and now I just have Octavian like they’re extremely easy to get.

For new random campers, it almost never picks from a species already on your island. So if you want Raymond, don't have any other cats, and have one each of the other large population species.

This is totally ridiculous, and a nice ***umption. But frankly speaking I think it’s more random than you’re trying to make it out to be. Don’t put too much effort into this don’t take too much into this as fact.

Actually according to game data, rarity is reversed. The game rolls for species (1/35) and then villagers. So getting the cat you want (1/25) is harder than the octopus you want (1/3).

I know that in real life cows and bulls are the same species but in Animal Crossing they count as seperate species because they have different base models. Cows and bulls are different species in Animal Crossing and that’s that.

All species have Male/Female, so Bulls/Cows should be in the same specie, maybe thats what Raven is trying to say. that makes them "non-rare" specie. :)

I think you mean there are 10 cows, bulls are not a separate specie they are male cows.
