You can also get blue from orange and black roses that are bred from hybrid reds

I just got a pink rose from a plot of only yellow roses. Strange!

I got a red from an orange and pink, no other Rose's nearby

I got a white rose from purple and orange

i just got a pink rose with no white roses around (i only own reds, and thus blacks), whats up with that haha

i got a black rose from a white and orange rose? no other roses around

Two pinks can make a white and two pinks can make a red

note guys that flowers that grow on your island ( not from seeds) can have moe random mutations)

So this is an odd one. Managed to breed three red roses from orange and pink roses that were next to one another. Going to see what these new reds will create

Will my pink and yellow roses spawn anything? I only have one of each and they are next to eachother

I can confirm two things with red roses. Two red roses do create black roses, got one on my 2nd day of trying. The other thing I can confirm is that two red roses can create a pink rose. Why they did that I couldnt tell you. They just gave both black and pink. None of my red roses were bred.

Blue roses exists, its obtained via 2 orange roses, it seems to be an uncommon spawn since i only ever gotten 1
