I went to a deserted island and cleared all the rocks, trees, and plucked the flowers, if you want an easy way to get these do this and leave the palm trees up and they spawn like crazy!

we got one on a cherry tree so~ no the type does not matter.

just caught one on a fruit tree 804pm

nah the tree type doesn't seem to matter- I've seen them on peach trees and coconut trees

Can be found at night on trees. Mine was on pine tree, not sure if the kind matters.
