I recently found out I was trans last month and my acnh name is stuck with my dead name. I know I can reset but the problem is I’m emotionally attached with my residents and i always feel like crying knowing that one day I am going to reset and leave my residents behind :(

I've recently had a name change because of my gender (Genderfluid), so I picked more of a unisex name but I'm stuck with my deadname. I don't expect to change my name, but it's really annoying being called a name I don't identify with anymore, literally ALL THE TIME.
