Strengths & How to Use

Wide range of Moves

It has a high attack power, and also can learn a range of different type moves such as Ice, Dragon and Ground. The only Pokemon that can lower the damage from Baxcalibur by 0.5 times are Steel type Pokemon holding an [Air Balloon]. So in a Pivot battle you can expect to do a lot of damage.

Has a highly responsive move structure

The new Signature move [Glaive Rush] will let the opponent's attack certainly hit you, and it will double the damage. But it is powerful and allows you to use different moves on your next turn, which is different than [Outrage]. It is also strong against Disguise or Pokemon holding Focus Sash, because [Icicle Spear] can hit 2 times consecutively.

Strengthen durability with Assault Vest

Baxcalibur can strengthen its durability by holding the Assault Vest. If you are not attacked by a type that is your weakness, you can withstand 2-3 times of Physical and Sp. Attack moves, so you can demonstrate its strong attack moves and wide range of moves easily.

Things to Keep in Mind

Tera Types are easy to be predicted

Since Baxcalibur's is a Pokemon that has a lot of weaknesses, it is often easily predicted what Tera Type you will be using. Even if they predict your Tera Type, you can still withstand Hydro Pump of a Wash Rotom that has an enhanced Sp. ATK, but it is definitely a sore point.

Beware of Dondozo

Since it does not have any moves that can attack Dondozo's weakness, there is no way to break through. The strongest move is [Glaive Rush], the next turn's damage will be doubled and you may be knocked down. If the opponent uses Dondozo, you want to switch to a Pokemon that is strong against Water and Ground types.

Gyarados	It can halve the damage from Water and Grass types which are the weaknesses after terastalizing, and Baxcalibur is strong against Electric type that is Gyarados's weakness.
Meowscarada	Pokemon that can defeat Dondozo and durable Pokemon. And it is capable to do many things such as the trick using Choice Items and [Flower Trick] that can ignore Defense rank.
Quaquaval	A Fighting attacker against Steel type which Baxcalibur is not strong against. However, beware of Grass moves that are strong against Fighting, Water, and Ground-type, which is Bxcalibur's Tera type.
