If you are planning to Solo challenge the Unrivaled Pikachu Raid, then Arboliva is recommended. By using Giga Drain to heal HP, it can attack the Unrivaled Pikachu's weakness. The ability to continue battling is high, and even after Terastalizing, you can battle without fainting.

    Smoliv
    Smoliv

Arboliva can not be captured in the wild, so you will have to capture the pre-evolved Dolliv or Smoliv. Smoliv can be easily captured near Cortondo so it is recommended to get.

Prepare To Reroll For Grass Tera Type

The Arboliva for Raids will use Grass type move Giga Drain consecutively, so it is a must to have the Grass Tera type so it can raise its power. If you capture it in the wild, there is a high chance it is a Normal Tera type so reroll for the Grass Tera.

Modest MintModest MintIf you use it, it will increase SP ATK easier, and harder for ATK to increase (Nature itself remains the same)
Purchased at Chansey Supply for 20,000 Poke Dollars

With Modest Mint, you can turn it into Modest with some Nature correction. If you don't have it, go to Chansey Supply in Mesagoza or other places and buy one for 20,000 Poke Dollars. However, there is no need to use Mints if the original Nature is Modest.

  5. Change Effort Value

The Unrivaled Pikachu is a Mixed Attacker Style, so to increase durability for both Physical and SP ATK, add 252 to HP. To increase the power of Giga Drain so you can increase the healing number, add 252 to SP ATK.

If You Have Money Use Vitamins To Increase Effort Value

Learn Their Best Move

Recommended Moves
Giga DrainLearn with TM 111
Sunny DayLearn with TM 49
Energy BallLearn at Lv 34
GrowthLearn at Lv 7

Arboliva for raids' main weapon is Giga Drain. You can only learn this with a TM so either find the TM or gather ingredients to create the TM.

Increase Giga Drain's PP To The Max

ItemEffect & How To Obtain
PP Up IconPP UpIt can increase 1 moves PP by the maximum of 1/5 of the original amount. You can use up to 3 for 1 move.
Can be purchased at Chanseys for 10,000 Poke Dollars.
PP Max IconPP MaxIt can increase 1 moves PP by maximum.
Can not be purchased at a normal shop

There is a chance that you will run out of Giga Drain PP. Not only do you want to increase the PP with PP Up so you don't run out, but also learn another skillful move like Energy Ball.

How To Use Arboliva In Raids

How To Defeat Unrivaled Pikachu Raid

Procedure Guideline
  1. Use Sunny Day on 1st Turn
  2. Until you can use Terastalization, use Giga Drain on ally NPC
  3. While it is Sunny, stack Growth to create stability
  4. Use Grass Tera and consecutively use Giga Drain
  5. If PP runs out use Energy Ball
  1. Use Sunny Day on 1st Turn
  2. Arboliva

The Unrivaled Pikachu will use Rain Dance in the start of battle. If it keeps raining then it will increase the power of the opponent's Surf, and makes Thunder accuracy 100, so change the weather into Sunny with Sunny Day.

  3. Until you can use Terastalization, use Giga Drain on ally NPC
  4. Arboliva

The Unrivaled Pikachu will also set up a screen in the beginning. So until you terastalize, not much damage will go through the opponent. There is a chance that you will faint if you can not get enough healing power from Giga Drain, so use Giga Drain against your NPC so you can heal up your HP.

Even If NPC Faints, It Won't Decrease The Time

If you are challenging Solo, even if the NPCs are defeated or faint, you will not get a penalty of the time decrease. So even if you attack and faint your allies, there is no problem.

  5. While it is Sunny, stack Growth to create stability
  6. While it is Sunny with Sunny Day, Pikachu's Thunder accuracy will become 50% and allows you to move more freely. If it is sunny, use Growth to increase your SP ATK by 2 levels. If you have a chance to use Growth when Sunny then do so.

  7. Use Grass Tera and consecutively use Giga Drain
  8. Arboliva

Once your Terastalization is charged then activate it. But if your HP is low and you terastalize then you will faint right away so make sure you have enough HP before you terastalize.

  9. If PP runs out use Energy Ball
  10. There is a chance that you might run out of PP for Giga Drain, and if that does happen then use Energy Ball. You can not heal, but when your PP does run out then the Unrivaled Pikachu's HP should be low so push through with Energy Ball.
