How To Change Pokemon Nicknames
Cannot Rename Pokemon Exchanged From NPCs
Pokemon that are acquired through exchanging with NPCs has a fixed name that can't be modified by any means. If you do not want this name, you must catch another similar Pokemon somewhere else or hatch it to do so.
May Require An Everstone When Breeding Pokemon
Hatching a normal Wooper or Galarian Meowth without doing anything will produce a Paldean Wooper or normal Meowth. Give them an Everstone to prevent Pokemon from evolving and to ensure that the Pokemon Egg inherits the desired parent's nature.
