Weather Cannot Be Changed By Skills Or Abilities In Some Areas

If the area is a special environment with fixed weather conditions such as Rain or Sandstorm, you cannot change the weather even if you use skills or abilities that can change the weather.

Weather During Battle Does Not Carry Over To The Area

Even if you use moves like Rain Dance during battle, the rain will stop after the battle. Remember, you can't change the weather in the area.

The Weather In The Area Changes Over Time

Weather in the field changes over time.

The weather conditions of a particular area changes every 5 minutes or so. The weather is random and can change from being sunny to rainy in a matter of time.

You Can Also Change The Weather By Changing The Time On The Switch Itself

If you advance the time on the Switch unit by 5 minutes, you can switch the weather in the game. However, the weather is unpredictable, and sometimes the weather does not change, such as from sunny to rainy, so the time must be changed several times before the ideal weather is reached.

There Are Nine Types Of Weather Conditions

The Paldea region has nine different types of weather that switch between sunny, rainy, and other rough weather conditions. Since heavy rain is similar to rain, its effect on battles is the same as rain (same as Blizzard). Although rarely seen, meteor showers also occur at night when shooting stars flow in large numbers.
