Only Uniforms Are Available

The theme of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is set to go to the Academy. Uniforms can be changed to different versions but it cannot be changed to clothes other than uniforms. There are no shops that sell casual clothing.

Press The 'X' Button To Remove

Items that are equipped can be removed by pressing the 'X' button. However, there are only 4 elements that can be removed: legwear, gloves, headwear, & eyewear. The uniform & bags cannot be removed.
