Chi-Yu is a Fire and Dark type, so it can be used against all six types. Sp. Defense's Base Stats are low, making it especially easy to attack against opponents with low Base Stats.

Differences With Skeledirge For Raid

Skeledirge is a Pokemon that uses Torch Song that hits repeatedly to cut down little by little. On the other hand, Chi-Yu can easily provide instant firepower with Stat boost moves and decrease Sp. Defense. The advantage of using Chi-Yu, is that it also breaks the barrier easily.

The move [Ruination] that the four Lesser Legendary Pokemon, can learn has the effect of halving the HP of the opponent. However, it is not recommended to be used against Raid opponents, as it is designed to do only a small amount of damage.

  2. Nasty Plot increases Sp. Attack by 6 levels
└ Use Taunt if the opponent uses a Status Move

  1. Hold the Expert Belt
  2. ItemEffect
Expert BeltExpert BeltWhen you hold it, the power of the move is increased by 1.2 times when it is effective.

Since Chi-Yu's role is to be a powerful attacker, it should be equipped with the Expert Belt, which is 1.2 times more powerful with outstanding effects. There are also other items that are 1.2 times as effective, but the Expert Belt is less time-consuming as it does not require to be changed.

  3. Nasty Plot Increases Sp. Attack By 6 Levels
  4. To increase Chi-Yu's own firepower, use Nasty Plot to increase Sp. Attack up 6 levels. If the enemy uses a Status Move during this time, you can use Taunt to block their movement.

  5. Use Sp. Attack When Attack Is Fully Increased
  6. All you need to do is Attack once Nasty Plot's Sp. Attack has finished increasing. Just in case Chi-Yu's HP gets low, use the cheer Heal up! to recover yourself.
