Each Pokemon's status has an Individual Value, which means that the same Pokemon can have different statuses. The Bottle Cap allows you to maximize this Individual Value. Available at Montenevera for Pokemon lvl 50 and above.

The Bottle Cap can be purchased at Delibird Presents for 20,000 Poke Dollars after collecting six Gym Badges. Since it is easy and reliable to obtain, there is little need to use other methods to obtain Bottle Caps.

If you talk to the above NPC in Montenevera, you can consume 1 Bottle Cap and do Hyper Training. Aside from fact that it can only be used on Pokemon of Lv 50 or higher, there are no other conditions to use it. With Bottle Cap, you can maximize a single IV to 31 whereas with Gold Bottle Cap you can maximize all Individual Value.
Current Individual Value Can Be Determined By Judge
Before using Bottle Cap, you should know what your Pokemon's Individual Value is. After the ending, a Judge Function that can determine the Individual Value of a Pokemon will be unlocked, so use the Bottle Cap for low value stats.
