Ground Types Are Recommended

Iono is the Electric Type Gym Leader. Ground-type Pokemon have a large advantage here because Electric-type attacks do not affect them. Her Electric Type Pokemon are weak to Ground Type, making it easier to defeat her. However, Iono can also use attacks that are not Electric Type so take note of that.

Also Learn Non-Ground Type Moves

Ground Type moves are strong against Electric Pokemon, but Flying Type Wattrel and Mismagius with Levitate Ability are immune to Ground moves. Make sure to have other types moves in order to not be at a disadvantage.

Use Terastal Against Mismagius

Iono will Terastalize Mismagius into an Electric Type, which is weak against Ground Type moves. But Mismagius has the Levitating Ability, making it immune to Ground Type moves. Save your Terastral here to even out the battlefield.
