Nemona Pokemon Team - 1st Battle

After Getting Starter Pokemon

Your first battle against Nemona will happen right after you chose your starter Pokemon. Nemona's Pokemon will be weak against your Pokemon's typing and can easily be defeated.

Nemona's Starter Pokemon

If You Choose Sprigatito

If You Choose Fuecoco

If You Choose Quaxly

Attack With Type Advantageous Moves!

Each of the Starter Pokemon will have a move that has advantageous move. Sprigatito will have Leafage, Fuecoco will have Ember, while Quaxly will have Water Gun so use these moves to attack.

Nemona Pokemon Team - 2nd Battle

In Front Of Mesagoza

Just before entering Mesagoza, an cutscene will occur wherein Nemona will appear! During this battle, it will give you a tutorial on Terastal, but you will be unable to use Terastal for a little while longer.

Use Ground Type Since It Has An Advantage

In addition to the Starter Pokemon, Nemona has Pawmi and uses Terastallize on it. Pawmi is an Electric-type Pokemon that is weak against Ground-type attacks. It is recommended to catch Paldean Wooper prior to this battle.

Nemona Pokemon Team - 3rd Battle

Occurs Upon Arriving At Your Third Gym

When you arrive at your Third Gym, Nemona will challenge you to a Pokemon battle. Since her level has increase since the second battle, make sure that before this, you've increased your Pokemon's levels as well.

Ground Type Is Still Effective Here

Even if Rockruff has been added, Pawmi's weakness is still Ground type. It is recommended that you catch a Ground-type Pokemon in your early progress to counter Nemona's Pokemon team in addition to your Starter Pokemon.

Occurs After Completing The 5th Gym Battle

Using Ground, Ice, & Fairy Type Are Recommended

There are many Pokemon that are weak against Ground type. Knowing that Nemona has added Goomy to her team, it is recommended to catch Ice & Fairy type to gain the advantage in the Pokemon battle against her.

Appears Before The 7th Gym Challenge

Ground, Ice, & Fairy Type Are Still Effective

Since Nemona is still using the same Pokemon team as in the 4th battle, Ground, Ice, & Fairy type Pokemon is still recommended. Just ensure that the level of your Pokemon team is raised to 42-43 to match Nemona's level.

Ground, Ice, Fairy, & Fighting Type Is Effective

Even if Nemona uses similar Pokemon from previous battles, it is recommended to use Ground, Ice, Fairy, & Fighting type Pokemon. Make sure to raise the level of your Pokemon to 65-66 to match the level of Nemona. Increasing your Pokemon level could take some time so take your time to prepare.
