How To Do The Process

1Press X (Menu) button
2Select Pokemon on the left side of the screen

3 Press A → Select Forget/Remember Moves

If You Want To Forget, Select "Forget Move"

If you want to forget move, choose "Forget Move" in your options. You can overwrite current moves when you learn new ones, so there's no need to forget it first if you do this process.

Can Be Done Anywhere As Long As The Menu Can Be Opened

Recalling moves is possible anywhere as long as the menu is open. If there is a move you want to use, such as before a boss, you can try to relearn it.

No Required Materials Or Consumption Materials

Unlike the previous series that required consumption of any items like "Heart Scale", there are no requirements to remember and forgot moves. You can easily repeat Remember/Forget Moves as there are no drawbacks.

Set The Most Frequently Used Move At The Top

It's a good idea to set frequently used or the most powerful moves at the top. It makes battles easier because you can select a move with consecutively pressing the button.

Requirements For Remembering Moves

What Moves Can Be Remembered And Forgotten

Once a Move is Remembered even TM Moves can be Remembered again. It is also good for trying out new Move as it can be Remembered at any time afterwards.

PP Is Restored After Remembering

Moves Remembered can be restores back to full PP. Even if you are about to run out of PP at distant location, you can restore PP by Forgetting and Remembering the Move again. However, note that extra PP gained from "PP Up" will be reseted.

If Wild Pokemon Learned TM Moves

Pokemon that appear in Tera Raid also cannot remember the moves they used before they got caught. Some Pokemon may remember TM moves that they have previously acquired, so check beforehand if you want to make them forget.

Moves Learned Before Evolution

Note that pre-evolution moves cannot be remembered after evolving. Since there is no way to recover it as it cannot be undone, it is recommended that the user disable the auto-save feature so that it is possible to retry the procedure before forgetting or remembering a move when re-ordering it.

Egg Moves Transferred Using Mirror Herb

Moves learned with Mirror Herb (Transferring Egg Moves with Mirror Herb) are also specifications that cannot be remembered by recalling moves. Transferring Egg Moves with Mirror Herb does not consume it, so it can be learned by starting over again.

What Is Remembering And Forgetting Moves?

A Function That Can Remember Moves Learned From Levelling Up and Acquired from TM. Unlike past series you don't need access to special character to Remember and Forget Moves.

Can Be Done As Long As You Can Open The Menu Bar (X) Button

If you can open menu tab(X) button you can Remember/Forget Moves. You can adjust Moves depending on opponent you are fighting next.
