Name Change Not Available For Pokemon Exchanged From NPCs

Nicknames cannot be changed for Pokemon obtained in exchange from NPCs. If you really want to use another name, you will need to catch it elsewhere or hatch it to be able to rename it.

May Require An Everstone When Breeding Pokemon

Hatching a normal Wooper or Galarian Meowth without doing anything will produce a Paldean Wooper or normal Meowth. Give them an Everstone to prevent Pokemon from evolving and to ensure that the Pokemon Egg inherits the desired parent's nature.
