How To Do Hyper Training

  1. Prepare Bottle Caps
  2. To Hyper Train, you will need Bottle Caps or Gold Bottle Caps. Pokemon that are Lv50 and above can be Hyper Trained, so prepare a few in advance.

  3. Head To The Pokemon Center In Montenevera
  4. The Hyper Trainer NPC is located very close to the Pokemon Center in Montenevera. If you have not gotten to this location yet, please refer to the map image above.

  5. Talk To The NPC with An Abomasnow
  6. The Hyper Trainer NPC is the person with an Abomasnow near the Pokemon Center.

  7. Select The Pokemon That You Want To Increase The Individual Value
  8. Select The Bottle Cap
  9. The Gold Bottle Cap will maximize all of the IV of the Pokemon, while the Bottle Cap will just increase one. It will be a waste if you use a Golden Bottle Cap on a Pokemon with one or more IV that have been increased already. It's better to use Bottle Caps in this case instead.

  10. Select The Stat You Want To Increase Its IV
  11. In the case of Bottle Caps, you will have to select the status you want to increase. Once you have made your decision, continue to start the training to maximize the Individual Value.

Hyper Training Guide

Judge Function Display Will Be Locked

The stat of the maximum IV is shown as Excellent in Judge Function. However, the stat raised by Hyper Training will be displayed as something else.

Original Individual Value Is Inherited When Breeding

Even if the IV is maximized in Hyper Training, the original IV that the Pokemon have will be inherited by its offspring when you breed with it. When you plan to train Pokemon to be a Parent Pokemon, you need one with a high IV naturally than through training.

Individual Value 0 Is Not Possible

As you play against other Pokemon, you may not have the opportunity ti create a Pokemon with an Individual Value of 9 for Speed or Attack. However, there is not way to reduce IV to 0 with items, so the only way it to prepare them by breeding eggs.
