Strengths & How to Use

Ability [Unaware] can nullify Stat boost moves

Skeledirge would not be affected by the opponent's Stat boost moves due to its Ability [Unaware]. This is a great advantage, as many Physical Tanks would be overwhelmed by [Dragon Dance] and [Swords Dance], so there is no need to worry about being broken through by Stat boost moves.

Increases firepower with Singnature move [Torch Song]

The Signature Move [Torch Song] allows Skeledirge to increase its Sp. Attack by one level while attacking. Although it is a Tank Pokemon, it'd be very powerful as it will be able to overwhelm the opponent just by staying on the battlefield and attacking, leading to a finishing blow in the endgame.

Will-O-Wisp can spread the burden to others

If you inflict a burn on the opponent's Physical Attacker, allies other than Skeledirge will be easier to withstand that opponent's attack. Since it is often tough for a single Skeledirge to deal with multiple Physical Attackers, it is very important to be aware that making your allies able to deal with the opponent you have to fight.

Skeledirge's Physical durability is quite high, but be sure to restore HP with [Slack Off] frequently when switchting pivots. Some Physical Attacker Pokemon may use Fire Terastal to avoid being burn, if you only think about inflicting a burn on the opponent, you may be defeated unexpectedly.

Notes on Fairy Terastal

Fairy Terastal is a Terastal that can be very advantageous against Dragon types, but it also has a disadvantage that Gholdengo's Steel moves will be super effective against it. If you are in a Pivot Battle, you should be aware of whether more than one type of your party are weak against the opponent.
