From Gerudo Canyon to Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, you will find a crystal so examine it and the challenge will activate. You don't need items to defeat the enemies, but use the materials that you find inside to complete the challenge.

From Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, use the paraglider to go down.
You can also walk from Tsutsu-um Shrine (Outskirt Stable).
Move one of the crystals to the back rock, and attack it to the six wheel automobile.
Then you will need to go through the route.
For the river step, you can use the rock and it will run it over.
