How To Go To Shrine
From Orochium Shrine head to the west climb and progress.
The cliff's coordinates are : -2030, 2647, 0244
Once you pass the cliff then then progress the route.
The cave's coordinates are : -2403, 2287, 0171
Throw in an Ice Fruit into the water inside the cave and create a ice walking platform.
If you have a Sapphire weapon it will be easier.

Walkthrough Guide
In "Proving Grounds" all you equipment and weapons will be taken, so make sure you get the weapons at the entrance.
Defeat the Construct that is located on the right high platform.
Hit headshot with arrow.
Climb up the platform and get the Fire Fruit.
Burn the leaves on the right wall and drop the Shock Emitter.
Burn the Construct that is on the bottom of the pillar with an arrow fused with Fire Fruit.
Defeat the Spear holding Construct.
If you get a headshot with the arrow then it is easier to defeat.
Defeat the Construct holding the spiky iron ball hammer on top of the slope.
The Construct that is on top is very powerful so make sure to fuse the Shield and Shock Emitter together.
Defeat Construct holding bow and arrow.
If you have the Shock Emitter Shield then you can stun them even from far away.
Use Ascend to go up. 
Defeat the 2 Constructs.
Since the floor is metal, just by attacking it with Shock Emitter Shield then it will inflict a large range of damage.
