Malboro - How To Beat (Hard Difficulty)
- Use Resist!
- Hit the open mouth to stagger
Win By Using Resist
Malboro can be a pain if you fight it unprepared as it uses attacks that inflict status ailments. The Malboro's "Bad Breath" and "Acid" can easily be countered by using Resist. Resist is the Level 3 skill of the Cleanse Materia.

When casting "Bad Breath", Malboro opens its mouth leaving it open to attacks for a couple of seconds. Go for the attack and hit its open mouth hard to build Stagger. Just remember to cast Resist before you go in!
