Get Manuscripts From Moogle Emporium
The Vol. I of all character's manuscripts can be purchase from Moggie. Pay him 5 moogle medals each (total 20 medals) to get them all.

You can get manuscript Vol. II of all characters at the Colosseum by defeating Shinra Thug with each character. Note that Aerith's colosseum challenge will appear once you beat the game & go back to colosseum.

The side quests in chapter 14 will give you Vol. III manuscripts of all characters. Note that Tifa's Vol. III manuscript can be gain by doing pull-up event at the gym. Finish them all to increase your weapon level.
