How To Get Level 6 Weapons
How To Acquire SP
The basic method of increasing your weapon level is simply by by acquiring Skill Points. This can be done in 2 main ways, but there are some complications when it comes to Normal & Hard Mode.Check Out Our SP Grinding Guide Here
Ways To Get Skill Points
- Level Up (Max Level = 50)
- Collect Manuscripts on Normal Mode or lower (up to 246)
- Collect Manuscripts on Hard Mode (after 246)
Get Over 250 SP
Simply put, in order to get level 6 you'll have to have 250 SP on that particular character. By clearing the game on Normal mode & leveling to 50, you can only obtain 246 in total, so this means you have to defeat bosses or do side quests on hard mode.
246 SP = Level 50 and 3 Manuscripts
246 SP in Normal Mode means that you've reached Level 50 and have gotten all 3 Manuscripts available on Normal Difficulty. These Manuscripts can be obtained from the Moogle Shop, Corneo Colosseum, & the Shinra Combat Simulator.Check Out All Manuscripts Locations From Here
Get From Shinra Combat Simulator
Even without playing on Hard Mode, you will be able to see the Hard-Mode exclusive battles in the Shinra Combat Simulator in Chapter 16 & Chapter 17. Clearing these solo missions will give you another Tome for each character. This alone should be enough to push you to weapon level 6 if you have all other Normal mode manuscripts!
Take On Hard Mode
Every chapter you do on Hard Mode will provide you with some Manuscripts. In fact, you can see exactly how many by going to the Chapter Select menu! Start with one of the shorter chapters or chapters with a boss you are confident you can beat to get your Level 6 weapons!Hard Mode Guide - Difficulty & Differences
