Players will be able to unlock the Whack-A-Box minigame in Chapter 8: Budding Bodyguard. They will be able to access this minigame by going through the A Verified Hero Quest.

You will be awarded an item or piece of equipment depending on the score you get in playing Whack-A-Box. Keep in mind that these are only one-time rewards. However, you will be able to earn as many Moogle Medals as you want by replaying the minigame.

Destroy Boxes to Earn Points
The main objective of this minigame is to destroy as many boxes as you can within the time limit. The number on a box will show you how many points you can earn by destroying them.
Box Durability Differs
A boxes durability will differ depending on the amount of points it rewards. Boxes worth more points will be able to take more hits than boxes that reward smaller points.
Destroy Red Boxes to Add Time
Remember to keep an eye out for red boxes as destroying these will add 10 seconds to your overall time. Make sure to destroy these boxes to give you more time to reach 30,000 points!
Recommended Weapon: Nail Bat
The Nail Bat is the recommended weapon to use thanks to its unique ability and braver attacks. You can use it to burst down 1,500 boxes in no time!
Disorder Ability is Useful
The Disorder ability will allow you to deliver a devastating attacks and switch modes, saving you a few precious button clicks, especially in this time-focused minigame!
Fill Up Your ATB Gauge
Pressing and holding □ will allow you to perform a strong attack with the Nail Bat that quickly fills up your ATB Gauge. When the ATB gauges are filled, you can then unleash devastating attacks that can quickly destroy the 1,500 boxes.
