Watch Out For Lock On

Crab Warden

If you followed our advice and have Cloud immune to fire damage, you'll be okay, but make sure to position the boss away from your other 2 party members before the attack goes off! If you don't have fire immunity, or a non-immune character gets locked on, immediately run behind a container or other debris.

Barrier In The Final Phase

Damage will significantly ramp up in the final phase of the fight. When the Crab Warden is around 30% health and is channeling EM Field, run to the edges and put Barrier up on your characters! Make sure to soak the Flamethrower with the fire immune character and use magnified cures to keep everyone up. Dump Lightning spells into the boss with support characters will guarding with your main to finish it off.

Manuscript Reward

For defeating the Crab Warden on hard mode, you'll get Sharpshooter’s Companion Vol. V, which gives SP To Barret.
