How To Beat Crab Warden - Boss Fight Tips & Tricks
Crab Warden - Boss Fight Tips & Tricks Chart
1. Target Legs To Bring Boss Down
When you break down one of the Crab Warden's legs, it'll go down. This makes it vulnerable to your shots. Use thunder spells or switch to Tifa to deal massive damage to the boss.
2. Defeat Slug Rays First When They Appear
After bringing down the Crab Warden's health a bit, it'll summon Slug Rays to mess up your fight. Lock onto them and defeat them first to lessen the hostiles in the field.
3. Use Summons For Extra Firepower
At this point in the game, you'll already have access to summons! Make sure to use any summon you have available for extra firepower or support during this fight.Check Out All Summon List Here!
4. Keep Away From Rails During Surge
When it's HP is below halfway, the Crab Warden will do a dangerous move called Surge. It will send electricity through the railroad tracks and cause an electric explosion. Keep away from the tracks to avoid damage!
5. Use Thunder & Punisher Mode When Staggered
When you've staggered the Crab Warden, this is when it's most vulnerable to your attacks. Use your Thunder spells, Punisher mode, and any Limit Breaks to deal maximum damage to the boss.
6. Target Generator In Final Phase
When the Crab Warden's HP has gone too low, it'll bring out its heaviest weapons. However, its weak spot, the Generator, will also be exposed. Target this weak spot to finally take down the boss!

If you don't have fire immunity, or a non-immune character gets locked on, immediately run behind a container or other debris.
Barrier In The Final Phase
Damage will significantly ramp up in the final phase of the fight. When the Crab Warden is around 30% health and is channeling EM Field, run to the edges and put Barrier up on your characters! Make sure to soak the Flamethrower with the fire immune character and use magnified cures to keep everyone up. Dump Lightning spells into the boss with support characters will guarding with your main to finish it off.
