How & When To Use Items

Use Items Via Commands Menu

Use Items via Commands Menu

You can open the Commands Menu located at the lower left side of the screen by pressing ○. From there, you can select which items you want to use.

Consume ATB During Combat

Item Uses ATB Gauge

Using an item during battle consumes 1 ATB gauge. As you cannot use several items continuously, carefully consider the timing on when to use one.

No Items In Hard Mode

Locked item

▲ Item menu is locked out in Hard Mode

Hard Mode locks out the option to use items for the whole duration of your run. As such, you cannot use and select items using the Commands Menu.
