What Is Surf Breaker?
A Watercraft Racing Course

Surf Breaker is a watercraft racing event with single-player courses. Clear each stage by passing through all the checkpoints before the timer runs out. Annulith and Fons are among the rewards for clearing stages.
You Can Invite Friends to Play
Tap Friendly Race in the bottom right of the event screen to race with friends.
How to Add FriendsUse the "Tide" Jetski
Surf Breaker is also a good way to test out the Tide, NTE's first water vehicle.

Surf Breaker has five courses in total. Each course has a different entry location, so check the event screen to find where each one starts.

Talk to the Course Manager at the entry location to set the difficulty and check the rewards, then tap Start Challenge.
Pass through checkpoints to reach the goal before the time limit. You don't need to hit the destination pin exactly; as long as you enter the visible square area around it, it will count.

Pigs sit under each gate and ducks line the path between gates. Collect them to boost your score and improve your clear rating.
Rewards drop the moment you clear a stage. There's no separate claims screen, so you don't need to visit the event page to collect them.
On the results screen, tap Next Difficulty to jump straight into the next stage.
Surf Breaker Tips
Aim for the Pigs Under the Gates
Every gate has a pig in the middle. Hitting all the pigs is usually enough to meet the score target, so only chase ducks when you have room to spare.
Increase Draw Distance

Raising "Draw Distance" in the display settings lets you spot pigs and ducks from further away. More visibility means more time to plan your line through each gate.
Best Graphics SettingsDon't Focus On the Destination Pin
Checkpoints are square areas, not single points. Don't lock onto the pin in the center; cutting through the edge of the area is fine, and chasing the pin directly can kill your speed.
Surf Breaker Rewards
You Can Get Annulith and Fons
Clearing each stage rewards Annulith, Fons, and other items on the spot. No need to claim them separately from the event screen.
Reach Target Reard For Annuliths
If Annulith and Fons are your only targets, just reach the goal. Skip the collectibles and keep your line through the checkpoints clean and consistent.
