How To Play & Rotation for Adler
Basic Playstyle
- Stack Karma through Basic Attacks
- Use skills to deal damage and grant Shields
- Apply debuffs through the Support Skill
Stack Karma through Basic Attacks
Adler stacks Karma when Basic Attack hits 1 through 3 land. First, focus on dealing damage with Basic Attacks while building up stacks. Once awakened to stage 1, the Ultimate can also gain Karma.
Use Skills to Deal Damage and Grant Shields
The Redirect Skill increases damage based on the number of Karma stacks consumed. Since it also grants a Shield on activation, the strong play is to swiftly switch to an attacker afterward to push the offense from a position of safety.
Apply Debuffs through the Support Skill
Activating the Support Skill applies one of three random debuffs to the enemy. Landing either reduced elemental damage resistance or increased Break efficiency lets your follow-up attacker fight the enemy on highly favorable terms.
Adler Life Skill & Exploration Passive
Increases dish prices and reduces ingredient consumption
Adler has Life Skills related to shop management. By placing them in the assigned shop, they simultaneously raise dish prices and reduce the ingredient consumption rate, letting you earn Fons efficiently with fewer resources.

Once the Life Skill is upgraded to Level 3, coffee is automatically brewed during Owner's Selection. This eliminates the effort of making coffee, allowing you to focus on other tasks like checking orders.

All Dharmas Are Empty Forms is recommended
For the first Awakening Slot, "All Dharmas Are Empty Forms," which extends the duration of Adler's signature Shield, is the most recommended. As a runner-up, setting "No-Thought" raises the Shield value, making the Shield even sturdier.
The more Awakening Slots, the more attacker performance increases
With more Awakening Slots, the damage-up effect of stacking Karma increases, and the Ultimate allows acquisition of bulk stacks. They can be expected to perform not just as a supporter but also as an Incantation ranged attacker.
