Special Animations from Weapons

Specific characters gain unique animations by equipping their signature weapons. These animations vary depending on the character and weapon, such as changing the weapon's appearance or adding extra effects.

Understanding Character Roles

Damage Characters

The Damage class isn't just for your main attacker. It is a broad category for any character that gives you a combat advantage through raw damage. This includes your main DPS, burst damage dealers, follow-up attackers, and Break specialists. Because of how versatile kits can be in NTE, some damage characters even double as sub-buffers or healers!

Buff Characters

The Buff class encompasses both buffers and debuffers. Instead of thinking of them purely as stat-boosters, it is best to view them as a dedicated support role designed to help allies deal more damage to enemies. Characters in this category may also possess crowd-control abilities to restrain or group up targets.

Survival Characters

The Survival class focuses entirely on your team's durability. While this naturally includes traditional healers and shielders, it also covers unique defensive mechanics, such as damage-sharing like Fadia. Ultimately, this is a defensive role dedicated to protecting your team's HP and reducing damage received.
