What are Check-In Points?
Photo Spots Around The Map
Check-In Spots are special locations around the map that you can take photos of. They are marked by a camera icon in the Map.
Check-In Point Location Details
When you head to a Check-In Point, a camera icon and option to take a photo will appear. Select the option to take a photo to start.
Hpw to Take Check-In Point Photos
- Head to a Check-In Point
- Take the photo
- Earn Footprint Points
Head to a Check-In Point anywhere around the world. You can find and track them through the map where they are marked by a camera icon.
Go near the Check-In Point and a "Take Photo" option will appear. Select it to open the camera and take a photo.
The camera will open with the landmark as the intended subject, but you are free to shoot any angles of it that you want.
After taking the photo, you will return back to your character and the reward for the photo will show up. You will see how much Footprint Points you receive in a pop-up.
Photos can be Saved
Photos you take can be saved in a local folder by using the button on the bottom right. Use this if you want to share your photos on social media sites.
Photos are Kept In-Game for 15 Days
The album can store up to 36 photos and videos for up to 15 days. If you forgot to save a photo locally, you can grab it from there.
Check-In Point Rewards
Gain Footprint Points
Every Check-In Point will give Footprint Points. You can see your progress in the Wanderer's Journal. Claim rewards based on your Footprint Points in the Wanderer's Journal.
