How to Level Up and Its Benefits

Gain Experience by Defeating Enemies

Leveling Up

You can level up in 999 Nights by defeating enemies to earn experience. Stronger enemies, such as elite and bosses, provide more experience, with higher-health enemies rewarding greater amounts of EXP.

Revive Enemies at Bonfires

Click to Revive

Defeated enemies naturally respawn over time, but you can instantly revive them through the Bonfire Menu in dungeons or at Camps. Using a Bonfire lets you farm enemies more efficiently when leveling up.

Re-enter 999 Nights to Revive Enemies

Reenter 999 Nights

Enemies also respawn when you exit and re-enter 999 Nights. If there isn't a nearby Bonfire, use this method to continue farming.

Equip High-Level Weapons and Armor

Change Gears per Level

Leveling up lets you equip higher-level weapons and armor, which significantly increase your character's stats. Be sure to upgrade your equipment as you level.

Enter New Dungeons

Enter New Dungeons

Except for Chocolate Volcano, all dungeons have minimum level requirements. Once every member of your team meets the required level, you can access new dungeons.

Recommended Leveling Up to Level 15

Defeat Enemies in Chocolate Volcano

Chocolate Volcano Dungeon

In the early game, continue your Exploration of Chocolate Volcano, defeating enemies along the way, and aim for level 10 so you can change your equipment.

Farm Aggressive Fluffies Recommended

Aggressive Fluffies

Aggressive Fluffies in Warren Continent are slightly higher level but easy to defeat even early on, making them an excellent source of experience.

Location of the Aggressive Fluffies

Aggressive Fluffies Location

Aggressive Fluffies can be found along the riverside path in the center of Warren Continent.

Farm the Chocolate Volcano Boss as Well

Molten Dragon Boss

After defeating the Chocolate Volcano boss, you can instantly revive it at a Bonfire. It rewards a large amount of EXP and plenty of equipment, making it worth farming repeatedly.

TipsTip!If defeating regular enemies feels inefficient, you can simply farm the boss instead.

Recommended Leveling from Level 15 to 25

Farm the Milk Ice Mountain Boss

Frostspike Dragon Boss

At level 15, continue exploring Milk Ice Mountain and farm its boss for EXP. After each defeat, revive the boss at the nearby Bonfire to fight it again immediately.

Defeating Mobs is Also Recommended

Milk Ice Mobs

Defeating every enemy from the entrance of Milk Ice Mountain to the boss can raise your level to around 25. For easy and steady EXP, farming regular enemies is recommended.

Recommended Leveling from Level 25 to 35

Farm Enemies in Amber Sugar Lake

Amber Sugar Mob

A large group of enemies appears just before the Amber Sugar Lake boss, making it an excellent spot to farm EXP efficiently.

Location of the Numerous Enemies

The large enemy group is located in the eastern area of Amber Sugar Lake, just before the boss.

Farm by Defeating the Boss at the Same Time

Scroll Leaf Scorpion Boss

After clearing the enemies before the boss, defeat the boss for additional EXP. Farm both the enemy group and the boss, then use a Bonfire to respawn them and repeat.

TipsTip!If farming regular enemies is too time-consuming, you can focus on farming the boss instead.
