What Are Special Challenges
Mini-Stages on Warren Continent
Special Challenges in 999 Nights are mini-stages found at yellow gem icons across the Warren Continent. Clearing them rewards you with Mystery Buttons and various other rewards.
Get the "Continental Breakfast" Achievement
Clear all of the required Special Challenges to unlock the Continental Breakfast Achievement.

Red Haze Incursion

Red Haze Incursion is a stage where you must defeat every enemy while taking constant fog damage. Be sure to equip the accessory "Mistlight Lantern," which nullifies the fog's damage over time.
| Tip! | Mistlight Lantern has a chance to drop from enemies and can also be purchased from the Mysterious Fuzzy Merchant. |
No Damage Near the Portal
After defeating the Blazehorn Tiger, you can lure the Molten Dragon to the area near the portal where the fog deals no damage. If you don't have the Mistlight Lantern, defeat the Blazehorn Tiger before the fog damage becomes too severe, then lure the Molten Dragon to the portal to finish it safely.
Jumping King

Jumping King challenges you to climb across obstacles, and you clear it by reaching the Sky Pig. If you fall along the way, you'll respawn at the latest checkpoint.

Double Jumping King

Double Jumping King requires you to navigate a series of obstacles and is cleared by reaching Stone Fuzzy Statue. If you fall during the challenge, you'll restart from the latest checkpoint.

Bubble Defense

Bubble Defense is cleared by talking to Mighty Piggy and defeating all the Bubble Pigs that appear.
Attack and Deflect Flying Bubbles
You can deal damage by attacking and deflecting the bubbles fired by the Bubble Pigs. When taking on this challenge, Mint is recommended since she can continuously attack by holding down her Basic Attack.
Wipe Out

Wipe Out is cleared by defeating all enemies in the stage at the same time.
Enemy Level Is Fixed at 35
Since enemy levels remain fixed at 35 even in later playthroughs, leveling up your characters makes it much easier to defeat them all simultaneously. If you're having trouble clearing it, focus on strengthening your characters first before trying again.
Baaastille

Baaastille can be attempted by talking to the Gatekeeper Fuzzy in the stage and handing over a "Fuzzy-Rolling Pin." This starts an event where you defeat waves of Shadow Fuzzy, and the challenge is cleared once the timer expires.

Avoid High-Load Effects
Baaastille places a heavy load on the game due to the large number of Shadow Fuzzy that spawn. If the game becomes overloaded by triggering too many visual effects, you may be forced back to the login screen and the challenge will count as failed. In particular, the Fieldstalker set creates explosion effects, so be sure to remove its set bonus before attempting this challenge.
