Guess the Total Value to Win the Bid

In the Going, Going, Gone Auction, you place bids based on your guess of the total value of multiple Collectibles. Using information such as the size and rarity (color) of the Collectibles, decide on a bid amount that won't leave you at a loss, and aim to win the auction.
Use Collectibles to Earn More Treasure Shells

Collectibles you win at auction can be sold from the Collectibles Warehouse, or put on display to earn a steady stream of income. Repeat the cycle of bidding and selling to build up your Gold Shells.
How to Play the Going, Going, Gone Auction Event
- Choose an Auction Venue
- Choose an Auction Assistant
- Purchase and select an Device Set
- Tap "Start Matchmaking"
- Guess the value of the Collectibles
- Repeat until the bid-winning condition is met
- The game ends once a winner is decided
- Organize the Collectibles you won

| Venue Name | Required Assets (Gold Shells) | Entry Fee (Gold Shells) |
| Shell Hall | 0 | 0 |
| Coral Hall | 1,000,000 | 5,000 |
| Pearl Hall | 5,000,000 | 20,000 |
Choose the Venue where you want to start your auction. Entry conditions and the items up for auction vary by Hall, so we recommend picking one that matches your current assets.

Next, choose your auction assistant. Each assistant has a different effect, so be sure to check what they do.

Purchase Device Sets and register them in your Device slots. Buying them costs Gold Shells, but they reveal information about the Collectibles, so they let you gain an advantage in the auction.
| Note | Device Sets are not consumed until you actually use them during the auction. |

Once you're ready, tap "Start Matchmaking" in the bottom right of the event screen. Once matchmaking is complete, you'll move on to the auction.

If your funds drop to 100,000 or below, you can claim 100,000 Gold Shells from the "Safety Fund" button in the top right of the event screen. This can be claimed up to 5 times per day.

Use the information revealed to guess the total value of the Collectibles and decide on a bid amount. If it's hard to judge, refer to the recommended bid amount shown on the bidding screen.

Device Sets you brought can be used from the button in the bottom left of the auction screen. The effect of any device you use will be consumed, so think carefully about which effect to use.

If no one meets the bid-winning condition, the auction moves to the next round. Decide your bid amount each round while keeping an eye on the equipment and bid amounts used by other players.
| Round | Bid-Winning Condition |
| 1 | Bid amount is at least 2x the 2nd-highest bid |
| 2 | Bid amount is at least 1.6x the 2nd-highest bid |
| 3 | Bid amount is at least 1.3x the 2nd-highest bid |
| 4 | Bid amount is at least 1.1x the 2nd-highest bid |
| 5 | The highest bidder wins all the items up for auction |
| 6 | *Only occurs if there are multiple highest bidders in Round 5 Only the highest bidders from Round 5 can participate The highest bidder wins all the items up for auction |

The player who meets the bid-winning condition obtains all the Collectibles, and the game ends. If another player's winning bid is higher than the items' actual value and results in negative profit, the other players each receive 10% of that negative amount.

Organize the Collectibles you obtain from the Collectibles Warehouse. We recommend displaying Red-rarity Collectibles rather than selling them. Displayed items earn Gold Shells over time.

Organizing your displayed items resets any earnings you haven't claimed yet. Be sure to claim your earnings before organizing your displayed items.

Check Collectible Information

Tapping a Collectible's silhouette during the auction lets you check which Collectibles are possible candidates. Check the price of each candidate to help you guess the total value.
Drive Up the Price to Make the Winner Take a Loss

If the final winning bidder ends up with negative profit, the other three players each receive 10% of that negative amount as profit. Driving up the price to make the winner take a loss is a valid strategy in itself.
Don't Sell Your Collectibles Right Away

Hold onto your Collectibles instead of selling them right away, and let your funds drop below 100,000 so you can claim the Minimum Guarantee. That said, having too little money makes it hard to win auctions in the first place, so make sure to have at least 200,000 Gold Shells ready before joining.
Use Devices

Devices go a long way in helping you appraise Collectibles accurately. The Advanced General-Purpose Device Set is recommended as it is a budget-friendly set with useful devices to reveal collectible silhouettes and rarities, giving you solid info for minimal cost.
Try to Trigger Buyouts

When placing a bid, aim for a buyout by adding at least 1 to your target amount. For example, if you plan to bid 100,000 in Round 1, enter 100,001 instead. If the second-highest bid ends up being 50,000, you'll secure an instant win since your bid exceeds twice their amount with less money spent.
Recommended Auction Assistants
Chiz and Haniel Are Recommended

If you want early Collection info, Chiz and Haniel are top picks. Chiz in particular can reveal some Collections as early as Round 3, making her super easy to use even for beginners.
Great Synergy With Silhouette-Revealing Devices

Chiz and Haniel synergize exceptionally well with devices that display Collection silhouettes. This lets you easily get the full picture on Collections and predict their auction value.
Aim for Immediate Bids With Daffodill

Daffodill can tell you right from the start how many Epic (purple) or higher Collections are present. If that number looks high, there's a good chance for huge value, allowing you to win bids early before prices get jacked up.
Use Devices to Increase Info Accuracy

Pairing Daffodill with a device that checks purple-quality Collections lets you deduce the exact number of Legendary (gold) or higher pieces available. It's best used when Daffodill reveals a high initial count.
Use Jiuyuan to Reveal Highest Rarity Silhouettes

Jiuyuan reveals the silhouette of the highest-rarity Collectible right at the start. This makes it much easier to gauge potential value from early on all the way into the late game, making her ideal for players hunting high-tier Red or Gold items.
