How To Play & Rotation for Jiuyuan

Basic Playstyle

Apply the pact to stack Rose Pact Bullets
Settle all pacts at once with the Ultimate
Increase Vita Pistils to deal automatic damage

Apply the Pact to Stack Rose Pact Bullets

Use the final hit of Jiuyuan's Basic Attack combo or their Redirect Skill to bind enemies with the "Lethal Rose Pact." In parallel, stack Rose Pact Bullets through Critical Riposte and similar mechanics to chain into the high-damage derived skill, Pact Settlement.

Vita Pistils Can Also Apply the Pact

When Vita Pistils hit an enemy without the Lethal Rose Pact applied, the pact is forcibly applied. This saves you the trouble of landing the final combo hit or Redirect Skill, so make active use of it when fighting groups of enemies.

Settle All Pacts at Once with the Ultimate

The Ultimate forcibly settles pacts within range to deal massive damage. Since settlement damage is increased, it is most effective as a finisher to capitalize on a boss's opening.

Increase Vita Pistils to Deal Automatic Damage

The Support Skill increases the maximum number of Vita Pistils that can be placed. Vita Pistils automatically apply the pact and perform additional settlements, allowing you to focus on dodging while consistently chipping away at enemy HP.

Reduces Vehicle Durability loss and Modification Fees

Jiuyuan has Life Skills related to Vehicles. You can reduce Durability loss when a Vehicle takes damage, and also cut down on Modification Fees. Since Vehicles are used heavily as a means of travel, this leads to Fons savings.

Forging Past Tidings into a Blade or One-Strike Kill are recommended

For the first slot, we recommend either "Forging Past Tidings into a Blade," which doubles Settlement damage and provides team healing, or "One-Strike Kill," which gives active Settlement an AoE and DPS boost. Either one improves both usability and DPS.

The more Awakening Slots, the more they balance annihilation and support

With more Awakening Slots, in addition to the DPS and healing skills above, you can simultaneously equip effects like "Beginning of Advantage," which boosts Break shred. They transform into an all-purpose character who handles high single-target DPS, AoE annihilation, healing, and Break duty all by themselves.

Bird's Eye View

Press Basic Attack while Jiuyuan is airborne to plunge upon landing, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG. Increases DMG based on fall height, up to 200%.

Info-Guided Arts

Hold Basic Attack to trigger Jiuyuan's follow-up attack. Auto-locks onto the target and fires a single shot, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG. If Jiuyuan holds Rose Pact Bullets, they are automatically consumed for continuous fire, prioritizing targets afflicted with Lethal Rose Pact.

Opportunity Lock-On

Press Aim to enter Aim mode. Fires a bullet that deals 1 instance of Anima DMG to the enemy in the crosshair.
