How to Unlock Fishing and Tips
Unlocking the Fishing System
To unlock the Sea Angler system in NTE, you need to complete a tutorial. Open Menu > City Tycoon > Hethereau Hobbies, select Sea Angler, then visit any fishing spot to start the tutorial. During the tutorial, you will obtain Fishing Rod I and 20x Universal Bait.

How to Fish and Tips
| 1 | Approach a Fishing Spot and select Fishing |
| 2 | Move to the preparation screen and select your fishing rod and bait |
| 3 | Go to the start screen and select the hook icon at the bottom right (From this screen, you can switch bait or open the Sea Angler menu)  |
| 4 | Wait for a fish to bite, then press the hook icon at the bottom right when it does |
| 5 | Reel in the fish (move the cursor in sync with the bar) The key is to keep the cursor near the center of the bar |
| 6 | Catch the fish (reduce the fish's stamina shown in the upper left to 0) |
Sell Caught Fish via "Fish Hold"
Caught fish can be sold from the Sea Angler Menu. Selling consumes City Stamina equal to the number of fish sold, and rewards you with Scale Coins + Fons. You earn 1,000 Fons per City Stamina consumed.
Higher Prices at the Fish Market
The daily-designated fish can be submitted via Sea Angler Menu > Fish Market. They sell at higher prices than usual, ranging from +200% to +500% over the standard rate. You can also access the Fish Market from the fishing icon on the map.
How to Level Up Fishing and Benefits
Level Up by Earning Fishing EXP
You can increase your Fishing Level by accumulating Fishing EXP. This EXP is earned whenever you catch a fish, and the amount varies based on the fish's rarity and size.
Three Fish Size Tiers (B/A/S)
Fish come in three size tiers: B, A, and S. The closer to S, the larger the fish, and the higher its sale price and Fishing EXP gain. The higher the performance of your fishing rod, the easier it is to catch larger-sized fish.

Obtain Annulith and Expansion Cores
Leveling up your Fishing Level rewards you with Annulith and Expansion Cores. This makes fishing a solid way to spend your City Stamina efficiently.
Reach Level 10 for an Outfit
Reaching Fishing Level 10 grants the protagonist an outfit. You can preview how it looks when worn by tapping the magnifying glass icon next to "Graffiti in Progress."
How to Get Fishing Tackle (Bait)
Buy at the Fishing Start Screen
Fishing Tackle can be purchased at fishing spots using Scale Coins. To open the tackle shop menu, tap the Fishing Tackle Shop button on the preparation screen, the same button on the pre-fishing screen, or select an unowned bait > Purchase.
