To raise your NTE Appraisal Level, you need to raise your Hunter Level to a certain point. Earn EXP through Dailies and Main Quests to raise your Hunter Level.

To reach certain Appraisal Levels, you will need to complete quests, complete challenges an also do more city exploration. Once you have reached the required Hunter Level, you may be able to clear the Ascension Quest from the Tutorial Quests.

Character Level & Weapon Caps will Increase

When your Appraisal Level goes up, the level cap for your characters and weapons also increases. By leveling them up, your characters will gain more Support Skills, and you will be able to take on high-difficulty content.

There will be More Drop Rewards

As your Appraisal Level increases, the rewards from enemies on the map, as well as from Anomaly Pilgrimage and Anomaly Hunt, will become more lucrative, allowing you to obtain high-rank enhancement materials.

How to Lower Your Appraisal Level

Can Be Ajusted from the Menu

Once your Appraisal Level is 3 or higher, you can lower your Appraisal Level by one stage from the Menu. If you feel that enemies are too strong and Exploration is difficult.

NoteEven if you lower your Appraisal Level, it will not affect the character and weapon level caps that you have already unlocked.

A 24-hour Cooldown Before You Can Change It Again

After lowering your Appraisal Level, you must wait 24 hours before you can change it back. Additionally, after changing it back, you must wait another 24 hours before you can lower it again.
