How to Reroll

Rerolling Time Required

There may be a delay before emails containing redemption codes or pre-registration rewards are delivered. Wait a few minutes and check your mailbox again. If the email has still not arrived, it may be delivered after progressing further in the game, such as after editing your character or party setup.

Rerolling in NTE takes about 20 minutes per attempt. There is no need to reroll on the standard or weapon gachas.

Select Character’s Gender

Immediately after starting, you will need to select your protagonist's gender. You can change it later, so feel free to choose whichever you like.

How to Change Gender

Many Cutscenes Are Skippable

With a few exceptions, the cutscenes that play before the gacha is unlocked are generally skippable. A warning will appear when you skip, but if you already know the content, prioritize saving time.

Complete the Control Tutorial

After selecting your gender and the cutscene ends, a simple combat command tutorial will begin. Learn the combat methods while using three different characters.

Some Cutscenes Cannot Be Skipped

The cutscene after the combat tutorial is skippable, but the cutscene after the scene change is not skippable.

Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control

Follow the yellow markers to advance the story. Nelly will guide you along the way, but you can save time by running past her and heading straight for the marker location.

Gacha is Not Yet Unlocked

You can now control your character and open the Menu screen, but the gacha menu is not yet available at this stage.

Enter Player Name

You will set your player name by signing a contract. You can change your Name later.

Progress Through the Stage

You will solve problems together with Mint. Here, you'll proceed while receiving a more detailed introduction to the system, so make sure you understand it as you go.

Additional Details Inside the Vehicle

There is a section inside the Vehicle where you control the game in first-person view. You can read the lore by investigating objects here, but you can also just head straight to the quest marker.

Defeat the Vending Machine (Oddity)

A Vending Machine Oddity will appear as an enemy. Defeat it while learning about Dodge and Critical Riposte.

Defeat the Picture Frame Boss

The Picture Frame appears as a boss. In this battle, you can learn "Parry Attack" and "Break".

Unlock Gacha

After defeating the boss and watching several unskippable cutscenes, you will arrive at the entrance of Hethereau. At this point, you can access the gacha feature and mailbox from the Menu screen.

Enter Redemption Codes

You can get additional Annulith from available redemption codes, so make sure to enter them before pulling.

Claim Rewards from the Mailbox

After entering the codes, remember to claim the rewards from your Mailbox. Pre-registration rewards and other bonus items are also sent here.

You can obtain a small amount of Annulith from the Achievements you've completed through gameplay up to this point.

Get Solid Dice at the Lost Exchange

Use the Fabricated Dice you have to pull on Strange Encounters (Standard Gacha), and then exchange the Lost Pieces you obtain for Solid Dice at the Lost Exchange in the Mall's Exchange section.

Make Gacha Pulls

Use your Annulith and Solid Dice to pull the limited gacha. If you get a result you're satisfied with, your reroll is finished at this point.

If you're not satisfied with the results, tap the door icon on the right of the title screen and log out of your account.

Repeat Steps 2–14 As Needed

After logging out of the account, delete the account you rerolled on, and repeat steps 2-14 until you get a result you're satisfied with.

For rerolling in NTE, you can delete your account from the Settings. Since there's no need to create multiple accounts, you can try this if you don't find it too troublesome.

How Many Pulls For Rerolling?

Number of Pulls Available

After unlocking the Gacha, you can obtain Annuliths and Fabricated Dice from Mail, Redemption Codes, and Achievements. Additionally, the Lose Pieces and Warp Pieces you get from pulling can be exchanged for more Dice at the Mall.

20% Off for First 50 Pulls

For the Standard Gacha, the first 50 pulls are discounted at 20%. This means that you can do 10 Pulls with just 8 Fabricated Dice instead of the usual 10. With just 40 Fabricated Dice, you are guaranteed to get at least 1 S-Rank character.

Reroll Target

Obtaining the Limited Character

For rerolling in NTE, it is recommended to pull from the currently available limited-time gacha. Limited gachas often feature powerful characters, and obtaining one can significantly ease progression in both combat and exploration.

Prioritize the Limited Gacha Board

The priority of obtaining non-limited characters is lower when rerolling. Even if a limited character has been obtained and resources remain, it is still recommended to continue pulling on the limited gacha, as the pull count is preserved.

Should You Reroll?

Worth It If You Want a Limited Character

Rerolling in NTE is generally not recommended. However, if you want to secure a character from the current limited gacha, rerolling is one option. But since each reroll attempt in NTE takes a long time, you may want to progress the game instead.

Skip Rerolling for Standard Characters

Rerolling for Standard characters is not recommended. Even if there is a specific character you want, you are guaranteed to get one through the Rookie Hunter Benefits on the Standard Board.

You Can Get Over 120 Free Gacha Pulls

In NTE, by combining pre-registration rewards and event distributions, you can get a total of over 120 free gacha pulls at launch.

Rerolling for Arcs Is Not Recommended

In NTE's gacha, you can also obtain equipment items called Arcs, but rerolling for them is also not recommended. Even if there is an Arc you really want, you can exchange for it with a Tri-Key in the Arc Shop.

What to Do After Rerolling

Progress Through the Main Story

Once you're done rerolling, start by progressing through the Main Story. Clearing Prologue II will unlock Hethereau Hobbies, a key content feature.

Increase Your Tycoon Level

Once you've unlocked Hethereau Hobbies, earn Fons through Hethereau Hobbies to raise your Tycoon Level. Raising your Tycoon Level allows you to unlock new minigames and obtain the S-rank character Chiz.
