For your Rookie Hunter Benefits exchange, we highly recommend choosing Jiuyuan, Hathor, or Daffodill.

Jiuyuan and Hathor are fantastic for beginners because they share Esper Cycle synergy with the main character. However, if you want to broaden your team-building options, Daffodill is the best choice.

Sakiri is Also a Top-Tier Choice

NTE Sakiri

Sakiri is currently the only 5-Star dedicated buff character in the standard pool. While she doesn't have perfect synergy with a main character-focused team, she is incredibly useful in almost every other situation due to her enemy restraint mechanics. If you have already managed to pull a strong carry like Nanally or Jiuyuan, Sakiri is the next highly recommended pick.

Jiuyuan: Applies and Detonates Marks

NTE Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan is an attacker who excels at dealing ranged Anima DMG. She applies an 'Oath' mark to enemies, which continuously drains their HP before detonating for massive damage. Because she easily triggers an Esper Cycle with the main character, she makes early-game story progression a breeze.

Daffodill: Master of the Parry Attack

NTE Daffodill

Daffodill is a technical attacker whose playstyle revolves entirely around her Parry Attack. By swapping her in right as an enemy lands a major blow, you can successfully trigger a Parry Attack, which instantly fills her EX Ultimate gauge. She is essential for triggering Chaos-based Esper Cycles with Psyche or Incantation types.

Hathor: Unmatched Burst Damage

NTE Hathor

Hathor is a fierce attacker who fights using a mix of martial arts and her signature motorcycle. When activating her Ultimate, she enters the 'Emergency Delivery' state, which grants her a massive boost to movement speed and ATK. She pairs perfectly with the main character to unleash devastating burst damage in a short window.

Sakiri: Buff Allies and Devour Mobs

NTE Sakiri

Sakiri is the ultimate mob-clearing character. When she's in Eating Mode, she can freely move around the battlefield and instantly devour weak enemies! Against bosses, her Ultimate restrains the enemy while providing a powerful ATK buff to your entire party, making her a top-tier choice for a support character.

Baicang: High-Risk, High-Reward Attacker

NTE Baicang

Baicang is a lethal Incantation attacker who utilizes a special 'Domain' expansion and an 'Instant Execute' mechanic that triggers when an enemy's HP falls below a certain threshold. However, his Basic Attacks consume his own HP. To compensate for this risky playstyle, he has a safety net that can nullify fatal damage once per battle.

Fadia: Ultimate Team Protector

NTE Fadia

Fadia is a defensive anchor who shares 50% of the damage taken by her allies, massively increasing your team's overall survivability. If her HP drops to a critical level, her Ultimate instantly fully charges, allowing her to unleash a massive heal and launch a counterattack to turn the tides of battle.

Should You Pull the Rookie Hunter Banner?

Yes! Pull Whenever You Have 8 Fabricated Dice

NTE Gacha Board

The Rookie Hunter Benefits banner features a generous 20% discount for your first 50 pulls. This means a 10-pull only costs you 8 Fabricated Dice instead of 10! And because you are guaranteed to get a standard S-Rank character for what effectively costs only 40 pulls, you should actively pull on this banner whenever you collect 8 dice.

Do NOT Spend Annuliths on This Banner!

NTE Image

If you run out of Fabricated Dice, the game will offer to let you spend Annuliths to make up the difference. We highly advise against this because you should always save your Annuliths to exchange for Solid Dice, so you can use them on Limited Character banners!
