Table of Contents

How to Steal Vehicles

Steal Parked Vehicles by Driving Them

NTE Steal Parked Vehicles

Approach a parked vehicle and select "Drive" to steal it. However, entering the vehicle is considered a crime, so your Wanted Level will increase, and the police will start chasing you.

Wanted Level Guide

White Prompts are Safe to Enter

NTE Safe to Enter Vehicles

If the "Drive" prompt appears in white, you can enter and drive the vehicle without raising your Wanted Level.

Requisition of Vehicles

NTE Requisition Vehicles

Approach a vehicle with someone inside and select "Requisition" to ask for it. If the driver agrees, it will not count as a crime, letting you drive it without raising your Wanted Level. However, attacking the driver before speaking to them will cause them to reject your request.

Threaten and Hijack if Rejected

If your requisition request is rejected, you can force the driver out by attacking nearby or using Skills. Once they leave the vehicle, approach it again and select "Drive" to steal it, though this will raise your Wanted Level.

Things to Watch Out For

Wanted Level Stays in Stolen Vehicles

NTE Wanted Level stays when in stolen vehicles

If your Wanted Level increases after stealing a vehicle, it will not drop below Lv. 1 while you remain inside it, causing the police to continue chasing you. Whenever possible, try to borrow vehicles or use ones with a white "Drive" prompt.

Tip!Police cars do not normally appear while driving around the city and also cannot be requisitioned, meaning they can only be driven while you are wanted.

You Cannot Keep Stolen Vehicles

Stolen vehicles cannot be registered as personal vehicles or summoned later, so they are only meant for temporary use.

How to Buy and Drive Vehicles

Stolen Vehicles Can't Be Used in Races

NTE Race Car Selection

Races can only be entered using vehicles you own, so stolen vehicles cannot be used.

Set Traffic Density to High

Special Vehicle Locations

These are the locations our team was able to confirm, so the vehicles may also appear in other places.

Police Car

Police Cars only appear once your Wanted Level reaches 1 and officers respond, so raise your Wanted Level to make them spawn. Since they cannot be requisitioned, wait for the officer to leave the vehicle, then approach it and select "Drive" to steal it.

Tip!Vehicles parked at police boxes cannot be stolen.
