How to Use the Small Animal Map

Use It with Iroi's Passive Skill

In NTE, Iroi can obtain growth items by interacting with small animals found throughout the field, up to 3 times per day. Use this map to easily track down small animal locations.

Growth Item Rewards Have a Limit

Keep in mind that the growth items obtained through Iroi's character trait not only have a daily limit, but also a lifetime collection cap of 999.

Watch the Time and Weather

Small animals in Hethereau may only appear at certain times of the day. They also won't spawn unless the weather is sunny, so be sure to check both conditions before searching.

No Need to Visit 3 Separate Locations

When using Iroi's character traits to interact with small animals, you don't need to hunt down three different spawns. You can interact with the same small animal up to 3 times, so it's much faster to stick to a single, easily accessible location.

Restart the Game if Spawns Bug Out

If your target animal fails to spawn where expected, first verify that you have the correct location, time, and weather conditions. If it still doesn't show up, try fast traveling away and back or re-logging to refresh the area.

Adjust the Traffic Settings

If you still can't find any small animals around the area, increasing the Traffic setting under Other Settings may help force them to load in. Raising this setting increases ambient entity density, making target spawns much easier to spot.

Best Spawn Location in Bridge Crossings

The best Bridge Crossings spawn is near Wertheimer Tower in Hankaku Street. Since it's close to a Fast Travel Point, it's one of the easiest locations to reach.

Best Spawn Location in Unheard Shores

Location Map

The best Unheard Shores spawn location can be found at the campsite near the Headless Rider Fast Travel Point. You'll need to climb a wall to reach the area, so getting there takes a bit more effort.

Best Spawn Location in Illusion Town

The best Illusion Town spawn is along the shopping street near Wertheimer Tower. You'll need to head into the shopping street, so it's a short walk from the Fast Travel Point.

Best Spawn Location in Miguel District

The best Miguel District spawn location appears at the top of the stairs near Wertheimer Tower. They spawn beside a tent, which can be easy to overlook, so keep an eye out when searching.

Best Spawn Location in New Herland District

The best spawn location in New Herland District is right beside the ReroRero Phone Booth near Apple Avenue. Since it's close to a Fast Travel Point and easy to spot, it's one of the most convenient locations.
