Track the Matching Griddy Storage Locker

NTE Griddy Locker

Once you've picked up a key, you need to find the specific Griddy Storage Locker it belongs to. Open your bag and use the key to reveal the locker's location on the map. You can then use the tracking feature to navigate straight to it.

You Can Only Track One Key at a Time

If you find multiple keys, they will be stacked as a single item icon in your inventory bag. Although each key corresponds to a different location, you can only track one locker at a time. Once opened, you can then open your inventory once more to track the next one.

Unclaimed Lockers on the Map

NTE Griddy Locker Map Screen

Griddy Storage Lockers that you currently hold the key for will be highlighted in your map. Even if you aren't actively tracking a specific locker, you should always stop by and open any available ones you happen to pass by.

Unlock Cabinets for Random Rewards

NTE Sakiri Opening a Griddy Locker

Go to the Storage Cabinet's location and use the key to unlock it. You will be rewarded with a random assortment of items, materials, and currency.

Example Storage Cabinet Rewards

Enhancement Items & Currency

Bring Keys to the Security Office

NTE Sakiri Returning Items at a Police Station

In addition to opening Storage Cabinets yourself, you can hand the keys over to the Security Office as a lost item. In return, you’ll receive a Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookie as a reward. If there are specific items you want from the Mouse Cookie Exchange, turning your keys in at the Security Office is highly recommended.

Tips for Finding Keys

Use a Bike to Search Quickly

Keys are generally found on the ground or on street‑level furniture, never on rooftops or other elevated areas. We highly recommend searching the city on a bike, since it lets you move quickly while easily navigating narrow roads and tight alleys.

How to Buy and Drive Vehicles

Check Both Sides at Bus Stops

NTE Bus Stops

Bus stops almost always come in pairs, with one directly across the street from the other. Since keys are commonly found at bus stops, if you find a key at one stop, always cross the street to check the opposite side!

Hunt for Keys During the Day

NTE Lost Locker Key Differences Between Night and Day

Sometimes, it can be quite dark at night so the usual places where these lost keys spawn can be incredibly hard to spot. Also, when you are driving a bike, the keys won't be highlighted even when you get close to them. To save yourself the headache, switch your in-game clock to daytime before hunting.

How to Change Time and Weather Guide

The Guide Cannot Detect Keys

The Guide is a great tool for tracking down nearby items, but unfortunately, it does not react to abandoned keys. You will have to rely entirely on your own eyes to spot them!
