What are Cartridges?
Items That Grant Various Special Abilities
Cartridges are items that can be equipped to characters to enhance their stats and grant them various special abilities. Equipping them will greatly increase a character's abilities, making it easier to progress in battles.
Equip Modules to Activate Advanced Effects
By equipping Modules that correspond to the Cartridge, you can also activate additional Advanced Effects. Modules also provide a stat boost to the character, allowing you to increase their stats significantly.
Effects Change Based on the Shape
The additional effects of a Cartridge change depending on the shape of the equipped Modules. Equipping two Modules of the corresponding shape activates the Epic Effect, and equipping four activates the Legend Effect, so when equipping Modules, be sure to use ones that match the Cartridge's shape.
Cartridge Sub-stats Can Be Refined
You can also refine the sub-stats of the Cartridge. The Cartridge's sub-stats are determined upon acquisition, so you should carefully select Cartridges with ATK, DMG, HP, etc., that match your character's traits.
Sub-stats are Unlocked by Enhancing the Cartridge
Sub-stats are unlocked when you enhance a Cartridge. In addition to being unlocked every +5 levels, enhancement materials are scarce, so during the early part of the game, instead of enhancing everything, it's recommended to save your materials and only enhance Cartridges with your desired sub-stats.
How to Obtain Cartridges
Obtainable in the Rabbit Hole
You can obtain Cartridges by clearing the Anomaly Zone in the Rabbit Hole. You get Cartridges by consuming Stamina (Character Pixels) when claiming rewards, and you can challenge it as many times as you have Stamina, so it's recommended to farm this content repeatedly.
Get Cartridges from Rewind
Cartridges can also be obtained from the Rewind, which you can use with Bronze Carrotas. Since Bronze Carrotas are obtained in the Rabbit Hole, if you want Cartridges, you should first farm the Rabbit Hole.
Access Rewind from the Character Screen
You can access the Rewind section from the character selection screen by selecting the Rewind option at the bottom left of the screen.
How to Enhance Cartridges
Enhance Using Dedicated Upgrade Materials
Cartridges can be enhanced by using the dedicated material, "Manhole". This process also requires Beetle Coins, so be sure to collect them regularly.
Enhance on the Character's Console Equip Screen
Cartridges can be enhanced by selecting Character -> Console -> Equip -> Enhance. Be sure to enhance them when you equip them to a character.
Enhancement Materials Can Be Obtained in the Rabbit Hole
The enhancement materials can also be obtained through the Rabbit Hole challenges. You can easily access the challenge through the Exploration Guide window.
