Version 1.3 Update Details: Banners, Characters & Events

Everything you need to know about the Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 update! Discover the release date, new characters Zankou and Linko, and upcoming summer events.

Version 1.3 Launch Date

Version 1.3 launches on August 19, 2026, following the end of Version 1.2 events. Each phase runs for 21 days.

New Characters

Zankou (S-Class - Incantation)

Zankou is a main DPS who switches between two states, Reality and Illusion to deal heavy Incantation and DoT damage.

Open World Ability

Zankou can turn invisible in the open world. Enemies cannot spot her while invisible, making her useful in Pink Paws Heist to avoid detection.

Interactions and Bond

Zankou doesn't appear in the open world in Version 1.3, but you can still raise her Obsession by sending gifts. Unlock Ride Along, Little Sparrow, and Move-in at specific Obsession levels. Her special interaction is a duel against phantom versions of Zankou until you face the real one.

Unlock Her Exclusive Skin at Launch

Zankou also features an extensive wardrobe which you can purchase at the mall or by reaching bond level 10. Pulling Zankou from her limited board also unlocks her unique skin, "Red Nightshade," at no extra cost.

Linko (S-Class · Anima)

Linko fights alongside her companion Xiaozhen, using Synced Strikes, support skill attacks whose damage type and attribute match whoever launches them.

Open World Ability

Linko can use Xiaozhen's ghost arms to slingshot herself across the city, a faster alternative to the glider.

Alluring Perks (Skin Perks Event)

Rolling on the Alluring Shadows board accumulates Skin Perks progress. Roll counts are shared across all limited boards running at the same time, but Skin Perks progress is tracked separately per board.

New Arcs

Phase 1 Arc Research Programs

The Arc Shop will stock Zankou's Spellbound Special and Nanally's Tiger Special in Phase 1. Pull counts and pity progress are shared across all Special Issues Arc Research Programs.

Phase 2 Arc Research Programs

Linko's Soundscape Special and Hotori's Bright Moon Special become available in Phase 2.

Main Story Update

Chapter 6: Fogden Game

Version 1.3 delivers Chapter 6: Fogden Game, the conclusion to the Scarlet Letter arc. Scarlet Letter's anomalies are tied to the past, present, and future, and the Appraiser must clear Chapter 7: Fighting with a Dragon before unlocking Fogden. Fogden is the Scarlet Letter's new hunting ground, where Appraisers face wave after wave of enemies.

New Character: Nitsa

A new character named Nitsa is introduced in the Version 1.3 story.

New Locations

Duskmoor

Duskmoor is a massive new district featuring oracle stones, new fishing grounds, and a full slate of racing challenges. It opens new courses through villages, fields, and mountain roads, plus a range of loop rally circuits.

Summer in Hethereau

New Activity: Beach Volleyball

A PvE beach volleyball mode where you battle locals on the way to a championship. Matches are 2v2 - pick one character to control and one AI partner. Every character has their own court strengths, so read the matchup before fielding your lineup. First side to reach 7 points with a 2-point lead wins.

Weekly Match Tournament

Pick a teammate and fight through the group stage into the knockouts. A full weekly run is 5 matches and a loss knocks you out. Final placement determines your Fons payout for the week. Costs City Stamina.

New Event: Shipwreck Salvage

Ride a jetski armed with a harpoon and haul salvage aboard. Jetski fuel is limited; only what you bring ashore before the tank runs dry converts into points.

New Activity: Water Racing

Water racing routes are going to pop up in Hethereau! Jetski racing will be available on new water routes that unlock over time. Each route has 3 difficulties, with each cleared difficulty unlocking the next.

A new event in Phase 2 that lets Appraisers bike alongside characters.

New Property: Stillmeadow House

A detached single house in the Miguel District, purchasable with Fons.

New Limited-Time Event: Runaway Echoes

Pick a character and enter an Anomalous Realm in ARPG style. Hordes of monsters spawn, cut them down, scoop up EXP orbs, level up, and select upgrade cards. Survive as long as possible while racking up the highest monster count you can.

999 Nights Gets an Upgrade

Two new modes are added: Standard Mode (99 floors) and Infinite Mode, which has no ceiling.

Circle Gifts Returns

Log in for 7 days to earn 10 Solid Dice for free.

Mews Flash Updated

Three new scratcher types arrive with rewards up to 2.5 million Fons. When the update goes live, all current scratchers are pulled from shelves. Note that Fons won from new scratchers will not count toward your Tycoon Level or Pawbes Rich List.

Other New Features

New Hethereau Hobby: Building Hethereau

Construction jobs are posted every day. Finishing the work earns rewards.

New Wardrobe Feature: Random Outfits

Enable random outfits for a character and they'll swap into a random outfit on each login or scene change as long as they're in your active lineup.

New Bagel Category: Furniture & Decor

A dedicated Furniture & Decor category is added to Bagel so Appraisers furnishing their properties can find ideas and blueprints faster.

Pukaland Opens in Version 1.4

Pukaland will open its gates in Version 1.4, bringing new game modes and a fresh batch of Anomaly Commissions.
