How to Customize Vehicles
Customizing your ride in NTE is one of the best ways to stand out in the city of Hethereau. Here is a quick overview of the customization process.
Purchase a Vehicle at a Dealership

You can only customize vehicles that you permanently own. To get started, save up a large amount of Fons and purchase a car or motorcycle from the Dealership.
Visit a Rampage Players Shop

All vehicle customization in NTE is handled at specific garages known as Rampage Players. For cars, you can alter both their visual appearance and their core performance. However, for motorcycles and scooters, customization is strictly cosmetic.
"Rampage Players" Shop Locations
| Where to Find Rampage Players | |
![]() Yuanmu Hill | ![]() Ironheart 9th Avenue |
![]() Seahorse Street | ![]() Moomin Street |
There are four Rampage Players shops scattered across Hethereau. The available parts and services are identical at every location, so just head to the one closest to you!
Spend Fons to Select and Install New Parts

Speak to the shop clerk and select your vehicle. Each vehicle has a unique list of compatible parts. Browse the catalog, pick what you want to upgrade, and pay the Fons required to install it.
Don't Forget Maintenance Costs!

If your vehicle has taken damage and has low durability, you will be forced to pay a Repair fee during the customization process. You can also perform repairs directly from the Garage menu in the City Tycoon interface without visiting a shop.
Swapping Owned Parts

You only pay the full price of a part the very first time you buy it. If you decide to swap back to a part you already own, you only have to pay a small customization fee for the labor. This labor cost varies depending on the vehicle's grade.
| Tip! | Labor fees generally range from 100 to 12,500 Fons. Premium, high-grade cars are much more expensive to tweak! |
Jiuyuan's Skill Reduces Costs

If you're strapped for cash, utilize Jiuyuan's City Tycoon skill! At Level 2 and Level 4, her skill passively reduces vehicle customization costs, saving you thousands of Fons over time.
Assign a Passenger

Tired of driving alone? You can invite your favorite characters to ride shotgun! Head to the Garage in the City Tycoon menu to assign a companion. You must reach Affection Lv. 2 with a character before they will ride with you. Give them daily gifts to raise their Affection quickly!
| Important! | Make sure you manually claim the feature unlock reward from the Affection menu once they hit Lv. 2, otherwise they won't appear as an option in the Garage! |
Take Them on a Joyride

Once assigned, your chosen character will automatically appear in the passenger seat of your car or on the back of your motorcycle whenever you summon it.
Enjoy Character-Specific Voice Lines

Your companions aren't just for show because they will provide their own commentary on how you drive! We highly recommend swapping out different characters to hear their unique voice lines during your road trips.
Advantages of Customizing Vehicles
Create a Unique Look

You can completely overhaul your vehicle's aesthetic by mixing and matching paint colors, body kits, and attachments. Plus, certain vehicles have exclusive premium skins that dramatically change their entire model!
Performance Upgrades

If you want to win races, you need better parts! Upgrading your Engine and Brakes will directly increase your top speed and stopping power. Meanwhile, utility parts like new tread designs or a custom LSD won't boost your raw stats, but they will drastically improve your handling during drifts or bad weather.
Restore Durability

Taking your car to a customization shop also allows you to repair it. When a vehicle's durability drops to 0, it will break down and become completely unusable until you pay for maintenance.
