Crimson Hexblade Features
Uses Sword and Summons a Clone

The Crimson Hexblade is an enemy that primarily fights using sword-based attacks. Once its HP drops below a certain threshold, it may summon a clone, turning the battle into a 2-on-1 encounter.
No Attribute Weakness

The Crimson Hexblade encountered in High-Risk Commissions does not have an Attribute weakness. Be sure to challenge it with your strongest and most well-built team.
Best Team for Crimson Hexblade

Although the Crimson Hexblade's mechanics are relatively simple, clone summoning can make the fight more difficult. It is recommended to pair Jiuyuan, who can group enemies, with Esper Zero, who can instantly trigger Esper Cycles over a wide area. This allows you to gather both targets and stack additional Blossom damage more effectively.
Blossom-Focused Team
| DPS | Instant Esper Cycle | Anima | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Jiuyuan | Esper Zero | Nanally | Hotori |
A team built around Jiuyuan and Esper Zero, supported by Nanally for stronger Blossom damage and Hotori for additional utility in time-attack content.
Crimson Hexblade Strategy and Tips
Watch for Key Attack Animations

Among the Crimson Hexblade's limited attack patterns, 2 attacks can be countered with a Parry Attack. Learning to recognize the wind-up animations and preparing to Parry immediately will make these opportunities much easier to capitalize on.
Burst During Clone Summoning

The clone summoning move is triggered at certain HP thresholds and has a lengthy animation. During this opening, deal as much damage as possible to gain an advantage before the clone appears.
Ignore the Summoned Clone

The summoned clone uses the same attack patterns as the main body. However, any damage dealt to the clone does not affect the main body, so it's generally better to ignore it and focus all of your damage on the boss itself.
Crimson Hexblade Attack Patterns
Triple Slash
A 3-hit combo where the enemy swings its sword twice before finishing with a powerful overhead slash. Only the second hit comes without a warning indicator, but if you dodge the first attack, you can safely avoid the rest of the combo. The final vertical slash has a narrow hitbox, making it relatively easy to avoid.
Draw Slash
The enemy enters a quick-draw stance before unleashing a flash slash that can be countered with a Parry Attack. The wind-up animation is fairly long, so watch for the stance and prepare your Parry in advance to handle it consistently.
Swift Counter Slash
The enemy assumes a counter stance before performing a flash slash. This attack can also be Parried, but it activates much faster than Draw Slash. Keep an eye on the brief wind-up animation so you don't miss the timing.
Clone Summon
The enemy plunges its sword into the ground to summon a clone, usually when its HP drops to around 50%. Since the summoning animation takes a long time to complete, use this window to unload your strongest attacks and deal as much damage as possible.
