What is 999 Nights?
Tabletop-Inspired Game Mode

999 Nights tells a classic story where the Appraiser sets out on a quest to defeat an evil dragon that is terrorizing a village. This game mode will include classic gameplay elements, such as defeating monsters to earn exp for level-ups, and gradually obtaining better and better equipment!
Fantasy Setting

The new game mode is set inside the titular 999 Nights tabletop game Anomaly. The Appraiser and friends are whisked away into the Warren Continent, which is split into several distinct regions: Fuzzy Village, Grassy Plains, Volcano, Icy Field, and Lakelands.

How to Play 999 Nights
4 Different Character Classes

Within 999 Nights, each of the 4 characters will have a distinct character "class": Swordsman, Mage, Barbarian, and Dragon Knight, each with different abilities.
Defeat Monsters for EXP

Players will need to defeat the many monsters found across the Warren Continent to gather experience points (EXP). Once enough experience has been gathered, party members will level-up, which provides varying stat boosts and power-ups.
Acquire Gear and Items

There's a chance for defeated monsters to drop gear, as well as items that players can trade at the game mode's dedicated shop.
"Appraise" High-Rarity Items

Gear on the Warren Continent has randomized stats and "affixes", and players will need to "Appraise"/Identify new gear to reveal these effects.
Gear Pieces Have Unique Appearances

Swapping gear pieces will reflect on your character model, allowing you to customize how your character looks as you play through the 999 Nights content.

Playing the 999 Nights Game mode earns the exclusive event currency "Mystery Buttons". These can then be spent in the Event Shop to purchase 999 Nights-themed outfits to be worn in Hethereau.
Total of 19 New Outfits

While not all outfits were shown during the Ver 1.2 Preview Livestream, the hosts mentioned that there are a total of 19 new outfits coming to the game!
| Note! | While you can mix and match individual gear pieces on the Warren Continent, individual pieces can't be swapped or worn separately out on Hethereau. |

Event Shop
While details weren't specified during the Livestream, the 999 Nights Event Shop was mentioned to have "select" items available for purchase using Mystery Buttons.
Our assumptions for these items include Annuliths, Fons, dice, tri-keys, and various character enhancement materials.
