Arc Development Overview
Arc is the Weapon in NTE

Arc Development Overview
| Develop Element | Effect |
|---|---|
| Enhance | Increases Arc Attributes |
| Ascend | Increases Arc Level Cap |
| Mixing | Enhances Arc Skill Ratio, etc. |
Arc development in NTE consists of three core systems: “Enhance,” “Ascend,” and “Mixing.” Additionally, there is a Dismantle function that converts Arcs into EXP items.
How to Enhance Arcs
Use Development Materials

Arc levels are increased using Development Materials called “Dye.” Beetle Coins are also required, so it’s recommended to farm both resources in parallel.
Farm Materials in Houdini's Magic Stage

To farm large amounts of Development Materials, clear “Kaleidoscope” in “Houdini’s Magic Stage.” Claiming rewards consumes Stamina (Character Pixels) and grants large quantities of materials. You can challenge it as many times as your Stamina allows, so it’s recommended to farm it whenever you have excess Stamina.
How to Recover StaminaAlso from Exploration & Hunter Exchange
Development Materials can also be obtained from the Mall or Hunter Exchange. Hunter Exchange unlocks at Level 6 Tycoon Rank, so use it when you need materials immediately.
How to Ascend Arcs
Use Ascension Materials to Unlock Level Cap

Unlocking the Arc level cap requires dedicated Ascension Materials. Once the cap is reached, you can Ascend the Arc, and additional materials are required at milestone levels such as 20, 30, and beyond, so it’s recommended to farm them consistently. The maximum level is also determined by "Hunter Level."
Ascend from the Arc Develop Menu
Once an Arc reaches its Ascension level, you can Ascend it directly from the Arc → Develop screen, so there’s no need to navigate to a separate menu.
Get Materials in Bubble Can Factory or Anomaly

Arc Ascension Materials are primarily obtained from the Bubble Can Factory or Anomaly Drops. In the Bubble Can Factory, Stamina (Character Pixels) is required to claim rewards, so farm it when you have spare Stamina. Like Development Materials, they can also be obtained from the Hunter Exchange.
How to Mix Arcs
Use Duplicate Arcs

Arc Mixing is a system where you consume duplicate Arcs to increase their star level, commonly referred to as "Enhancement." This can improve Arc Skill effect ratios and other attributes.
Avoid Mixing Arcs Early On
In the early game, it's fine to use the Arcs you obtain without Mixing until you have enough copies. If you Mix too early, you may run out of Arcs to equip when you obtain new characters.
How to Obtain Arcs
Obtain from Scarborough Fair

Arcs are primarily obtained from the Gacha (Scarborough Fair). Pulls require Dice or Annulith, so progress through the game to farm these currencies.
Scarborough Fair GuideObtain from Arc Research Program

You can also obtain S-Tier Arcs from the "Arc Research Program". Each pull requires 10 Tri-Keys, with an UP Arc guaranteed every 8 pulls.
Exchange Using Tri-Keys in Arc Shop

Alternatively, Arcs can be exchanged in the Arc Shop in the Mall. In "Arc Selection", you can obtain an S-Tier Arc for 25 Tri-Keys, while "Arc Exchange" offers S-Tier Arcs for 100 Mhm! Coins and A-Tier Arcs for 100 U-00NE.
| Currency | How to Obtain |
|---|---|
| Tri-Key | - Annulith processing - Hunter Exchange |
| Mhm! Coins | Make a Wish at Nacupeda's Pond |
| U-00NE | - Anomaly Drop - Anomaly Commission |
Obtainable from Hidden Quests

Some Arcs can also be obtained through hidden quests, such as the "Day Off" Arc, which is Esper Zero’s best-in-slot option.
How to Get Day Off ArcObtain from Event Rewards
Arcs can sometimes be obtained as rewards from ongoing events. Additionally, you can also earn rewards such as Annulith or Dice, so try to progress through events as much as possible while they are active.
