Bopp Popp guide for Neverness to Everness (NTE). Learn Bopp's attack patterns, best team comp, and tips to clear Lightspeed Tagger Commission.
How to Unlock Lightspeed TaggerBopp Pop Characteristics
Uses Board-Based Movement

Bopp is an enemy known for its board-based, sliding movement patterns. It normally has a first form embedded in a wall and a second form that emerges afterward, but in High-Risk Commissions, the first form is skipped and the battle begins directly with the second form.
Psyche Attribute Attacks Are Effective

Bopp's weakness Attribute is Psyche. Attacking with its weakness Attribute allows you to efficiently reduce its Break Resistance, making the fight easier to manage.
Best Team for Bopp

A Blossom-focused team capable of triggering Esper Cycle: Blossom is highly recommended. Currently, there are no dedicated Psyche Attribute main DPS characters, so Vita Buds, which can reliably deal damage through auto-targeting, help make the fight much more consistent.
Blossom-Focused Team
| DPS | Instant Esper Cycle | Anima | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Jiuyuan | Esper Zero | Nanally | Hotori |
This team is built around Jiuyuan and Esper Zero, alongside Nanally for stronger Blossom damage and Hotori for additional value in time-attack content.
Tips to Defeat Bopp Pop
Board-Based Sliding Movement
Since Bopp constantly rides its board, its movement is unique and resembles sliding across the battlefield. Be careful, as it can cover long distances not only while moving but also during attack animations.
Special Visual Effects

Some of Bopp's attacks are accompanied by effects that make it appear as though paint has been splattered across the screen. While the effect is temporary and limited in area, it can briefly reduce visibility, so stay alert.
Beware of Attacks Below 50% HP

Once Bopp falls below 50% HP, it gains access to additional attacks, and some of its existing moves become stronger. Keep in mind that the fight becomes more dangerous during the second half, and adjust accordingly.
Bopp Pop Attack Patterns
Leaping Attack
This attack is always used at the start of the battle and comes with an active hitbox. A red warning indicator will appear, so be ready to time your Dodge as soon as the fight begins.
2-Hit Combo
This is a 2-hit combo that uses a scooping attack motion. Although warning indicators appear for both hits, the attack reaches farther than it appears due to Bopp's sliding movement. Pay attention to your positioning and dodge accordingly.
Paint Toss
Bopp throws the paint it is holding at the target. A warning indicator will appear beforehand. Getting hit triggers a paint-splatter effect that temporarily obscures your vision, so make avoiding this attack a priority.
Spin Attack
Bopp spins in place, dealing damage in all directions. While a warning indicator appears, the attack radius is relatively small. You can avoid it either by timing a Dodge or simply moving out of range.
Surfboard Charge
Bopp charges forward on its surfboard. Above 50% HP, it performs two charges, both of which can be countered with a Parry Attack. However, once below 50% HP, the attack changes into a 3-hit charge sequence, and only the first hit can be parried.
[Below 50% HP] Combo Attack
A combo attack performed while riding its surfboard. Warning indicators appear for every hit, but there is a noticeable delay between Bopp's stance and the actual attack. Stay calm during the screen-darkening and flash effects at the end of the combo, and time your Dodges carefully.
