What Is Cycle Intensity?
Increases Esper Cycle Damage

Cycle Intensity in NTE is a stat that increases the damage dealt by Esper Cycles. The higher your Cycle Intensity, the more damage your Esper Cycles will deal.
Highest Level and Intensity Stat Scaling

When an Esper Cycle is triggered, its damage is calculated using the character with the higher Cycle Intensity and level, whether before or after the switch. Because of this, it's worth investing in the Cycle Intensity of characters that frequently trigger Esper Cycles.
Hexed and Stain Use Active Character Stats

The "Hexed" and "Stain" effects, which increase damage after an Esper Cycle, use the Cycle Intensity of the character dealing damage after the Esper Cycle is triggered.
No Effect on Certain Esper Cycles

Keep in mind that Cycle Intensity does not affect non-damaging Esper Cycles such as Remora, Charge, and Discord.
How to Increase Esper Cycle Damage
Raise Character Level

Esper Cycle damage is heavily influenced by character level. If a character frequently triggers Esper Cycles, leveling them up should be your top priority.
How to Level Up & Ascend Characters
Increase Cycle Intensity

After leveling up your character, focus on raising Cycle Intensity to further improve Esper Cycle damage. The main way to increase Cycle Intensity is through Console main stats and sub-stats.
Lower Enemy DEF

Esper Cycle damage can also be increased by reducing enemy DEF through character abilities or Console effects. Triggering an Esper Cycle while the target's DEF is reduced is an effective way to maximize damage.
Consider Esper Ability (Attribute)

For Blossom and Scorch, the damage Attribute is determined by the character with the higher Cycle Intensity and level between the two characters involved in the Esper Cycle. You can increase damage further by targeting enemy weaknesses or reducing their Attribute resistance.

Increase Critical Damage

Critical hits only apply to Scorch damage. Scorch critical damage is calculated using the Critical Damage stat of the character with the higher Cycle Intensity and level between the two characters who triggered the Esper Cycle.
| Note! | Scorch has a fixed CRIT Rate of 50%. |
Increase Character Damage

Hexed and Stain damage scale based on the character's damage output. Because of this, prioritizing stats such as Critical Damage and Esper Ability Damage over Cycle Intensity will generally provide a larger overall damage increase.
