Table of Contents

What is the Underground Circuit

A 6-Player Combat-Race

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Fire Fight

The Underground Circuit in NTE is a battle royale-style race where players fight from Vehicles using item and weapon pick-ups. Unlike regular races, you can attack and interfere with other players, which is the biggest difference from standard racing.

Rush to Claim Random Vehicle Spawns

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Foot Race

Each race in the Underground Circuit begins with a short foot race where players scramble for unclaimed Vehicles. You cannot summon your own Vehicle, so rush to claim a high-performance vehicle before your opponents.

Vehicles List - All Cars & Motorcycles

Use Traps During the Foot Race

Various traps are placed within the 100 meters between the starting line and the Vehicles. Utilize these traps to secure the Vehicle you're aiming for.

▼ List of Traps
Trap Effect
Taygedo's Hammer Smashes a random nearby target and knocks them down.
Gigafluff Charges straight ahead at the targets in front, including the user.
Paper Squadron Whirls around nearby targets and throws off their direction.
Ghostly Kite Launches the user forward with a glider, granting a short burst of flight that can cross obstacles.
Imaginadough Creates a slowing field behind the character.
Weird Bandage Chases a random target ahead and wraps them up upon contact.

Vehicles Are Equipped with Weapons

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Vehicle with Weapons

Vehicles come equipped with weapons by default. By attacking other players, you can reduce the durability of their Vehicle.

Weapons Can Be Swapped

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Weapon Pickups

Driving through a Weapon Crate on the track allows you to obtain a more powerful weapon. Each weapon has its own distinct characteristics, such as the Gatling with its superior rate of fire, or the RPG Launcher that causes area explosions.

Vehicles Explode at 0 HP

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Destroyed Car

When a Vehicle's durability reaches 0, the driver is forcibly expelled from the vehicle before it explodes on the spot. If this happens, run down the track as fast as you can to locate a replacement vehicle.

Durability Can Also Be Restored

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Healing Pickups

In addition to weapons, Universal Wrenches can also be found on the course. Picking up a Universal Wrench allows you to restore both the tire condition and durability.

Two Players Can Ride in One Vehicle

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Passenger and Driver

In the Underground Circuit, you can choose to get into either the driver's seat or the passenger seat of a Vehicle. Both the Driver and the Passenger can use the weapons equipped on the Vehicle.

How to Farm Blacksteel Bolts

It's Possible to AFK Farm

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - AFK

Since the race ends shortly after a player gets 1st place, you can earn Blacksteel Bolts just for participating. You could even just AFK for the entire race and still earn Blacksteel Bolts.

Be a Passenger

Players in the same car generally receive the same placing. Even finishing in last place moves your final ranking up by one position, so it's a decent option if you don't care about your final ranking.

Don't Play More Than Necessary

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Blacksteel Bolt Cap

There's a cap on Blacksteel Bolts that you can earn. This cap increases gradually as the event progresses, but if you've already hit the current cap, you don't need to keep grinding the event.

How to Get 1st Place

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - First Place
  • Use Early Traps
  • Secure a Top Tier Vehicle
  • Pick Up Powerful Weapons
  • Destroy Obstacles
  • Play Aggressively
  • Heal with Universal Wrenches
  • Prioritize Fire Support
  • Utilize Ramps and Shortcuts
  • Cooperate as a Duo

Make Use of Early Traps

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Foot Race Traps

Once the race starts, spam your dash to reach traps before opponents. Remember that your top priority is reaching a Vehicle, so avoid enemy traps and pick up your own while keeping this in mind.

Secure a Top-Tier Vehicle

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Pendragon

Even if you don't get a good car after the foot race, you can find unclaimed cars along the race track. While you can't check stats on the spot, it's generally a good idea to swap out a reguar car for sports car.

Vehicles List - All Cars & Motorcycles

Pick Up Powerful Weapons

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Gattling Gun

Once you're driving, try to secure powerful weapons along the course. If you're unsure which to pick, we recommend the Gatling or Frost Gun for their high rate of fire.

Destroy Obstacles

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Destroying Obstacles

The animal-shaped obstacles found on the map can be destroyed by attacking them. Since hitting an obstacle will slow you down, dodge or destroy any obstacles in your path.

Play Aggressively

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Firing Weapons

Damaging an enemy's durability or tires will make their Vehicle harder to handle. Even if you can't destroy their car, aggressive attacks serve as effective interference.

Heal with Universal Wrenches

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Universal Wrench

Whenever you take damage, actively try to pick up Universal Wrenches. Restoring your Vehicle will restore its handling, and you can avoid getting your car totally destroyed.

Prioritize Fire Support

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Fire Support

Fire Support is an instant and automatic attack, so pick it up whenever you can. It will usually attack the player in 1st place, but will attack the 2nd place if you're already 1st, making it beneficial to pick up in all situations.

Utilize Ramps and Shortcuts

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Shortcut Ramp

There are several ramps on the course where you can take a shortcut or skip obstacles. We recommend actively taking ramps whenever possible.

Important Notes

Passengers Can't Drive the Car

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Right Side

Approaching a car from the right side offers the Ride or Drive options. Note that if you enter as a Passenger, you will be unable to drive the car.

Automatic Driver on the Left

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Left Side

Approaching a car from the left causes only the Drive option to appear. This quickens the transition between running and driving the car, so keep this in mind.

At First, Maintain 2nd or 3rd Place

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Attacked by Fire Support

Fire Support is a special pickup that instantly punishes the car in 1st place. Also, it's much easier to shoot at the car in front of you. For these reasons, we recommend maintaining 2nd or 3rd place at the start of the race, and then quickly moving to 1st place shortly before the race ends.

You Can Aim Behind the Car

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Backwards Aim

The shooting reticle can be aimed at targets behind you. Note that this is extremely difficult to do while driving, but try to make use of it during the straight sections of the track.

You Can Swap Cars at Anytime

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Unclaimed Car

There are cars scattered across the entire race course, so you can swap to a better vehicle if your car is destroyed or if you want to swap to a faster vehicle.

Weapon List

Pistol

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Pistol

The Pistol is the default weapon equipped on Vehicles. It's a standard weapon with no particular strengths, so swap it out for a better weapon as soon as possible.

Shotgun

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Shotgun

The Shotgun places traps that destroy tires. It's a tricky weapon to use since the traps can also affect you and its rate of fire is low.

Frost Gun

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Frost Gun

The Frost Gun obstructs the opponent's screen. Since the Underground Circuit has numerous traps and obstacles, it can be a powerful disruption depending on your timing.

Field of View When Hit by the Frost Gun

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Frozen Windshield

Gatling

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Gatling

The Gatling is a weapon with an excellent rate of fire. It's easy to use and very handy for destroying obstacles.

RPG Launcher

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - RPG Launcher

The RPG Launcher is a weapon with superior single-hit power. While its raw firepower is high, its rate of fire is low and its projectile speed is slow, making it a weapon suited for advanced players.

Fire Support

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Fire Support

Fire Support is a special item that attacks the player in 1st place the moment it is picked up. If you are in 1st place, it attacks the player in 2nd place instead, so prioritize grabbing it regardless of your current position.

Universal Wrench

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Universal Wrench

The Universal Wrench is a recovery item that repairs the Vehicle's durability and tires. Pick it up actively to prevent your car from being destroyed.

How to Access the Underground Circuit

Join from the Event List

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Events List

You can queue for the Underground Circuit from the event list at the top of the screen. Pressing "Start Race" will immediately match you with 6 players and begin the race.

Benefits of Playing the Underground Circuit

Earn Fabricated Dice and Annulith

NTE (Neverness to Everness) - Bolt Shop

In the Underground Circuit, you can earn Blacksteel Bolts based on your ranking. Blacksteel Bolts can be exchanged at the Mall for Fabricated Dice, Annulith, and upgrade materials.

There Is a Daily Cap

There is a daily earning cap for Blacksteel Bolts. The cap is gradually increased as time passes, but if you can, start playing early in the day.
