What Is Beginner's Hall?

Starting Facility That Also Serves As Tutorial

Beginner's Hall is a general facility that also serves as tutorial for players to the many in-game mechanics when starting out. It is a key position in sector 7 as the Weapon Vendor is located here as well.

Unlocks On Chapter 3

Progress the story to gain access to the Beginner's Hall & relevant facilities. Follow the main quest chain in Home Sweet Slum to open up all the facilities and additional contents.

Beginner's Hall Facilities

1st Floor: Weapon Vendor

1st Floor: Weapon Vendor

Only after you progress the chapter 3 will the Weapon Vendor owner opens up to you and let you access his inventory. Check back here often to see if he carries new items.

Unlocks Odd Jobs After Gaining Access

Unlocks Odd Jobs After Gaining Access

You'll be able to get Odd Jobs from Wymer after earning Weapon Vendor's trust. Finish the Odd Jobs (Side Quests) to gain favors from people to earn rewards.

Battle Intel Available From Now On

Next to Wedge is Chadley who will give you Battle Intel quests. Completing Battle Intel will give you rare Materias that may not be able to obtain anywhere else.

2F: Neighborhood Watch (SP Tutorial)

Neighborhood Watch (SP Tutorial)

Wedge and Biggs are on the second floor as part of the Neighborhood Watch. You can get Neighborhood Watch related lore and info from them but the key takeaway is SP (Skill Points) and how to use them .

Tifa Joins The Party

Tifa Joins The Party

Tifa will join your party after speaking to the duo. Now you get to have her around on your adventure! She starts on level 10.

Differences From Original

No "All" Materia To Be Had

No All Materia To Be Had

No ? icon here means the All Materia isn't here!!!

In the original, players were given the "All" Materia on the 2F of Beginner's Hall. This is no longer the case in the Remake possibly for balance reason.
